Ajinomoto - Umami Seasoning Monosodium Glutamate - 200g

I love trying out new ingredients and cooking different dishes, so I was excited when I started to learn about including MSG in home Asian food. After looking around in local shops and online, I have found that this is by far the cheapest source for the stuff.I'm incredibly excited with how it has transformed my food! It shockingly doesn't really "taste" like anything, but brings out other flavors in your dish that weren't noticeable previously. The best way I can describe it is just the essence of takeout Chinese food that you can sprinkle into your food at the end.I totally recommend getting this, even if it's just to try out MSG for the first time. Its a great price, does great things for your food, and is a very decent sized bag to last a long time in your kitchen.

Is really is just Monosodium Glutamate for enhancing soups and stews flavour but I use only about 1/4 tsp per 4 person serving of stew/soup.

If you're wondering what's missing from your homemade Asian cooking, it's likely this! Totally transformed my stir fries, giving the dishes amazing depth of flavour! Not just limited to stir fries either! Any savoury dish will benefit from a touch of this stuff!!

This was my first time trying MSG and I've not been disappointed. I've watched lots of tutorials and taken loads of advice and now mostly use it mixed with salt as seasoning on pasta, potato and rice dishes and it's very effective! Will definitely be buying more, but this pack is lasting me a long time for now.

Tastes nice even raw, helps add flavour to foods. Price fluctates a lot on amazon so worth keeping an eye on it and it even goes on sale. Has to be one of the OG brands of msg.
