Keeps the fishies fed while away
This turned out to be a dependable unit during my vacation. I tested the unit prior to leaving, and found that even on the smallest possible opening setting, it dropped way more food than I would feed in a day. To compensate I simply set to feeding every 48 hours. Even so, I swear some of my little fishes doubled in size during my trip. One note of caution, You must leave an opening for the food to dump into the tank. I had one fish jump out to his demise through the smallest sliver I left open in the lid. maybe surround the device and opening with a net if you have jumpers.

I like it
I wasn’t expecting this to work so well but it does. It’s easy to set up and attach. At first I was worried about the amount that it puts out because at the first turn it seemed like a small amount, but I guess that was a warm up spin because it puts out a decent amount. It’s easy to load/fill with food. There are a few cons or things to be worried about. I will say that the timer is a little iffy and I wouldn’t recommend it for tanks larger than maybe 20 gallons. Also maybe get a fish food type that’s not flakes although it does work for the flakes I do feel like it works better for a different type food. Overall it’s still nice.

Food dispensing is limited
It’s much smaller than I was thinking and also it has a plastic tip that the food doesn’t come out very good but other than that, it’s working

Good for small pellets
These don't dispense flake well at all. And they are small so for a beta or cichlid probably perfect. For tropical fish not so much. I put 2 on a 210gal and the fish attack the glass. So I found a much bigger one.
