Dryden Designs Fountain Pen Ink Cartridges - Set of 24 Black Ink CARTRIDGES - Short International Standard Size - Disposable and Generic Ink Refill Cartridges - Perfect for Calligraphy

I have been purchasing these ink refills for years and they are always perfect. Thank you. I write in my journal every day and prefer my fountain pen to these modern pens that are not as neat.

Previously I've used the Monteverde USA ink cartridges for my OHTO Tasche fountain pen, which I use primarily at work to take notes during meetings and throughout the course of a day. I go through a cartridge about once a week with how many notes I take. The Monteverde ink is good and I have no complaints but until I tried these Dryden cartridges I would have rated it 5 stars. Now I have to knock it down to 4 stars. The Dryden ink flows smoother and it's darker on the paper. Now this could very well mean the cartridge won't last as long but so far I've been 100% satisfied. I bought these because I was tired of buying 6-cartridge packs. The fit is a bit tight in the pen but it fits with no leakage so there's no complaints to be had there. Overall - great ink! Will buy again.

A bit hard to load but works with persistence.

When I first bought this pen I used the provided cartridges and was very pleased. Then I bought a bottle of fountain pen ink and was quite displeased, skipping, drying ink in tip and just not what this pen was doing. I bought these cartridges and everything was back to the way it was writing when new. One other commenter wrote of similar experiences. Very pleased.

I have collected and used fountain pens for decades. I also continue to work in many locations and always carry one with me. I also worry that I will lose them or run out of ink just when I am compiling notes at a meeting or needed to sign something Important. I fear not any longer! I purchased two of the pens in wonderful colors several months ago along with two boxes of ink cartridges (black and blue). They travel well, even on planes as I can remove the cartridge in the pen and replace it again either on Board in the air or when I land to avoid any leakage (although occasionally when I forget to do that I have not had any leakage). Everyone has complimented me on the one I am using at the time and should someone inadvertently start to walk off with it, I can identify it and nicely remind them to return it and let them know where they can obtain their own and at such a reasonable price! “Try it! You’ll like it!” as the saying goes. The hardest part is choosing the color. They are all beautiful! Oh yes, now all my expensive pens get very little use, as these are my ‘go to’ tools of the trade!

Great price for getting multi-colored cartridge ink. Easy to use-short international cartridges that work in nonproprietary fountain pens. Colors are bright and so is my wallet!

The purchase was disappointing. Who knew that all short "international" ink cartridges were not the same and would not fit all pens claiming to use that size? I didn't, apparently. They are not supposed to be different. But these were/are. I had purchased these to use primarily in a Monteverde and Faber-Castell fountain pen and was very surprised when it did not fit. While not very scientific, a closer examination of the tips, these appear to show a slight difference in size to the naked eye. (These appear to have smaller openings when compared to the Monteverde cartridge.) I did have a couple of ZenZoi pens in the drawer and did find that the cartridges fit into those without a problem. However, I refuse to try and force an (inexpensive) ink cartridge into an expensive fountain pen. Just won't do it, even if it's supposed to work. I had seen reviews by others of the ZenZoi pens stating that they leaked. Could it be because of the type of cartridge used? A less snug fit with a slightly wider cartridge would logically tend to leak, IMO. The same day these arrived, I ordered a pack of Monteverde short "international" cartridges, because those I know fit six other fountain pens I have that these cartridges do not.

Purchased for a Dryden fountain pen; the ink is great. Cartridges easy to install, the pen writes fabulously.

If you need permanent ink this is not for you but if you just want it to write with, it's beautiful ink. It is also nice to use for painting and having it blur / bleed into the background for shading etc.

I bought these for my grand daughters and they were thrilled with the colours as they are just starting to write/draw with fountain pens.

This was exactly what I was looking for in terms of ink for my collection of fountain pens! Colors are vibrant and give my correspondence the look and feel I was looking for :)
