How many hours does it take to assemble?

If you are working by yourself about 15 hours and that is if you are familiar with the KNEX system and the instructions. That is how long it took me and I have done it a few times.

Does it come with the basket seats?

The seats are built with K'NEX rods and connectors which are included in the set.

I wanted to know the width of the product. I know it's 6 Ft tall. And don't under the listing below of "13.8 x 12 x 13.8 inches"?

Basically what Connie said, 6 feet tall 6 feet wide and the base is about 2 feet wide. And the width of the Ferris wheel is the width of a red rod or 7”

Is this an official k'nex set? does it come in the original k'nex box?

It is an official k'nex set. Mine however did not come in an original box. I chose to make a wooden box for it because at 30 pounds plus, the original box would not have lasted very long. I made my box the same size as the shipping box that the product came in.
