In addition to many different blades, including the HeadBlade Moto, I've tried 4 electric bald head shavers, from the inexpensive 9-blade designs to most recently a Braun Series 9 Sport (the Costco model) which is a face shaver you can adapt to head shaving. I've used this Manscaped Dome Shaver for a few weeks and I am so far very impressed with the closeness of the shave - very unusual in an electric razor. I am getting away from the blade razors because of too many nicks and cuts. This Dome Shaver has a couple of spots lower on the neck you can feel it start to nick, so you have to get into a habit of knowing where to let up pressure.5-stars! Overall this is well built, delivers a close and comfortable shave, holds a charge for quite awhile and is very easy to clean. It does however seem to trap water in the blade housing, so Instead of water-cleaning, I recommend using a compressed-air can and only an occasional quick water rinse. Be sure it's totally dry before storage.

Update #1: Noticed during charging that when charging, there is pretty significant coil whine. Like, a LOT of coil whine. If you’re sensitive to high-pitched noises, please be aware; for those of us who have some degree of hearing loss in the upper registers, it probably won’t bother you too badly, but it is still noticeable if you’re in a small, enclosed area like a bathroom.No issues, shaved very close and quickly (make certain your hair is short enough to shave, otherwise it will pull like all rotaries). USB-C charging makes it considerably more convenient for travel than every other shaver I have with their obnoxious proprietary plugs and cables. Cleanup is easy quick thanks to magnetic attachment and battery life seems sufficient but only time will tell there.Enjoy the travel case but it's a bit bulky. Packaging is weirdly ostentatious (it's a tool used to cut hair, not a smartphone) but that's the norm these days.If it holds up to repeated use, seems like a good quality piece of equipment.

Excellent product. It looks and feels like it will last forever. My husband loves it. Perfect size. My husband use it for shaving his head. It gets you a flawless smooth shave. The battery lasts long enough just to charge it once a month. Not noise at all.

Recently, I purchased the Dome Shaver Pro primarily due to my previous positive experiences with Manscaped products. I had high expectations for this shaver, as it performed well in terms of cutting and felt comfortable to use. However, the most significant issue I encountered was the magnetic feature of the shaver.Initially, the blades attached to the housing magnetically. However, after using the shaver for approximately a week, I noticed that the blades would not mount properly, and no matter how hard I tried to adjust them, the housing appeared to be warped.Despite my initial positive impression of the shaver, I decided to give it another chance. I believed that I had received a defective model, but unfortunately, this was not the case. I ordered a replacement, and upon receiving it, I observed that the housing was indeed warped, as evidenced by the blades not aligning properly when I installed the new blades on the old housing.Regrettably, this issue persisted, and the shaver developed warping within three days of use. It is important to note that I thoroughly clean the shaver after each use, ensuring that it is completely dry and stored in its case. Therefore, this problem should not have arisen.As a loyal customer who has consistently appreciated Manscaped products, I urge you to investigate this design oversight. Failure to address this issue could result in significant loss of business from dissatisfied customers.

Tried multiple head shavers and returned all of them. This product does a great job , as close to a razor as you can get. I recommend this shaver.

First time using a head shaver as I usually just use a razor head. It is very rough to use the first few times until your scalp builds a tolerance to the irritation. But gets a very close shave and overall I am very satisfied.

I can only compare this to the Remington head shaver, but it seems like night and day to me... I have been using the Remington head shaver for about a year now, and it works but it is not the best. The shave is close, but not as close as this model. More importantly, the Remington one is a bit rougher/doesn't cut as smoothly; the motors have also jammed up on me a few times.On the other hand, the Manscaped Dome Shaver is really nice. I have used it 3 to 4 times in the last month or so. It cuts closer, runs smoother, and can be held in different ways. This one I can and want to use every few days; where as the Remington one, I had to wait for one skin irritation to calm down. I got the version with only 4 blade heads, which I think is more than enough; if you are in a hurry, you might get the more expensive one... Waiting for the company to sell replacement blades for this model, so I can stock up for a few years.
