For wiring, I did unfasten some of the trunk casing to allow me to weave the cord through. I ran it along the other cords and was able to tuck it along the seams of the door and other areas of the car so the cord is minimally visible. The screws I had for my license plate were not long enough for the added width of the camera bracket, so I purchased 2 longer screws (#14) from a hardware store. After that, it was super easy to install. I like being able to turn it on and off with the push of a button. The picture comes on quickly too. The screen size is probably bigger than what I need, but it does not block my view after finding a good location. The picture is great - bright, clear. It has helped me park in some tight spots already! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BEST INVESTMENT *by I***C on May 4, 2025* This is a great camera. It turns on immediately, has great clarity, easy to hook up, and because it is wired there is no interference. The company quickly responded to my email and sent me a longer camera cable to fit my 30 foot motorhome. I carefully ran the wire in the shortest path, but came out just a little short. I tried an extension from a different manufacturer but the camera would blink on and off, so I sent an email to the address with the product (haokeo@outlook.com). It's also on the Amazon website. The next morning I had an email from them stating that a longer camera cable had been sent. The problem is solved. I keep my dashboard clean, I chose to connect the power at the back of my rig rather than to the cigarette lighter up front. I had a more expensive wireless set, but found that they don't have the range to work very far, along with other problems that this inexpensive unit solves. Easy, adjustable guidelines and more. Best investment.
