A must for LED conversions.
I was trying to convert an older motorcycle to LED turn signals and tried many fixes but the LED's didn't draw enough wattage for the old relay to work properly. This relay did the trick!

Much Better Fix For Hyper Flash LED Turn Signals Than Adding Ballast Resistors
I upgraded to LED lighting on my 1996 Hijet Japanese mini truck. This caused the dreaded hyper flash with the stock electromechanical bi-metallic flasher so I used this electronic flasher to fix the hyper flash. I set the flash rate to one flash per second. The original flasher fit into a shallow well. The new electronic flasher was slightly larger and didn't quite fit. I purchased .25" quick disconnect splitters that are intended to plug into a QD connection to add a male QD tap to plug in another wire. Instead, I clipped off the extra male QD tab and used the rest of the adapter as an extension leg to raise the new electronic flasher high enough that it cleared the molded plastic well on the fuse black. This electronic flasher has been working flawlessly for a few months so it's apparently reliable.Adding an electronic flasher is a much better fix for hyper flashing LED turn signals than adding ballast resistors across each bulb to make a bi-metallic flasher work properly by wasting all of that power. The electronic flasher requires no other modifications to the vehicle's electrical system that would reduce reliability and generally kludge the wiring with needless complexity.

2004 Frontier
This one worked perfectly. Unfortunately a different Flasher, the EP34, didn't do anything but buzz. This one worked like a charm. The flash rate is fine also. Thank you for an accurate description and a great product.December 2018 update. I had a curious episode. When I turned on my lights my rear running lights would flicker in time with my directional light. That could cause a problem so I installed a resistor on the left rear side. The resistor solved 1/2 the problem but the right side still acted up unless I put an incandescent bulb back in the tail/brake light socket. Ultimately I had to add a resistor to the brake/tail light assembly on the right rear side to stop that flicker. Now all is operating well. I just included this because I had read that playing with the electrical system can raise all sorts of issues so I stayed with it patiently until I stumbled on the right combination. I had figured that if the system wanted to 'see' a regular bulb in the brake/tail light position then I would trick it into believing that one was there. So that's how I ended up with a resistor on one tail (directional) light and one on the tail/brake (running/brake) light on the opposite side. I'm not going to mull it over any further....I really don't care about the mechanics of it. I just know it works. I stayed with it until I resolved it and now I have it working fully. I'm a very happy customer and I appreciate the feedback left by others because it helped point me in the right direction and caused me to try things I would not otherwise have thought of. Thank You all for your contributions.

Easy replacement Flasher Relay for LED upgrade!
This product works just as it should. I upgraded my turn signals to LED bulbs. The other option would be to put resistors in the circuit in-line with the LED bulb, so that the original flasher relay would maintain the proper flasher speed. But I don't see the point of upgrading to LED if you'll be running the same amount of current draw on your car's electrical system. One of the benefits of LEDs is that they will be a lesser strain on the electrical system. With this relay, you can be assured that you'll get the proper turn signal flash speed with your LEDs while still also have lesser current draw on the electrical system. Two last points, this flasher relay is significantly quieter than the original. Although, I do not have a problem with this it is a point to make. And there's also reviewers that mention the relay will click several times after the turn signal is shut off. That is to say the clicker noise will continue, but the flash to the turn signals will be shut off. So there's no delay in shutting off the flasher circuit, it's just that there's a couple clicks before the relay is completely quiet. It can be annoying to some, I would imagine, but there is the added benefit that the relay is quiet and takes someone listening for it to realize that it happens at all.Great product for a low price, I would recommend for those swapping to LED turn signals.

Work for 1997 Geo Tracker
The plug worked perfectly. Could not use the factory holding slot. So it just dangling in the dash. This allowed me to fix hyper flash and adjust from super slow to kinda fast.

Works as described
As with any flasher, you need to make certain of the polarity of the relay you are purchasing for your vehicle. This one worked fine with my vehicle and the LED bulbs I installed. I only give three stars because the sound of the relay clicking is not as pleasant as the OEM one, and it will occasionally start on the half/flash, if that makes sense. I just found it kind of annoying.I replaced it with a Novita relay. Made by Sylvania. Much better for just a few dollars more.
