KEEN Men's Headout Low Height Waterproof All Terrain Hiking Shoe

KEEN quality and fit. I like the KEEN brand and feel like they are a good boot. These fit well and are really comfortable. I have been wearing them daily for a month now and have no complaints.

They are true to size. They wear great. I would buy again.

Excellent hiking shoe - very comfortable and they required virtually no breaking in. Only minor downsides: 1) on 15-20 miles days over relatively hard terrain I did wish it had more cushioning, like my running shoes; and 2) when walking along the edge of a raised path I did find a tendency for my ankle to roll out based on the way the heel is shaped, but I have weak ankles which doesn't help.

I wouldn’t say these are “comfortable”. They’re definitely not as comfortable as memory foam house slippers, for example. But there is a remarkable lack of “discomfort” when wearing them. My feet feel nothing bad. My knees feel nothing bad. They seem to be incredibly stable. I think they stopped me from rolling my ankle a couple times. The water proofing is fantastic. I never even notice moisture or temperature change from walking through lots of wet grass when walking the dog. So these don’t feel “super great”, but they do seem to make everything negative go away… I can’t imagine I’d ever buy another brand or even style of sneaker for what I use these for. Wish I had found them years ago.

Like most of the people reviewing, I have had several pairs of Keens. I could not replace my beloved Terradora (9 years old) because they didn't have my size. So I tried on 3 different waterproof styles: Circadia, Targhee II, and Headout. All low height. I found the Circadia to be very stiff with an uncomfortable pinch at the toe area when you push off, the Targhee's were HUGE and bulky - which on a size 10 foot is not a good look. Got the Headout and ordered a 1/2 size bigger based on frequent reports in the reviews. Added my own superfeet inserts and voila! a great fit. No pinching, ample room without feeling loose, no heel pinching. No arch support though so would recommend inserts if you like to feel some support.

After wearing these shoes 2-3 days per week for the past six weeks of street wear, the suede across the top is ripped for no reason. I wouldn’t buy this style again. So disappointed as I’ve worn this brand for years with great results.

Third time I wore them the lace strap broke - not the lace, the strap that holds the lace. Can no longer wear them unless I figure out how to repair or find someone to repair them. They provide good support and comfort. Fit fine. I’m just breaking them in for a trip end of June (they are stiff) and for the strap to break when I’m just trying to tie them is unacceptable for this type of price.

Recommended by my dentist, he was right, these are wonderful and very comfy

My partner's son loves these shoes. he even wears them as a dress shoe. Finds it very comfortable.

Sehr bequeme und hochwertige Wanderschuhe. Sie sitzen gut am Fuß, geben stabilen Halt und sind auch bei längeren Spaziergängen angenehm zu tragen.
