Review: This pill dispenser has been a life saver! My cat absolutely hates taking medication and will do anything that she can to spit a pill out. She sometimes even chipmunk's it in her cheek and spits it out later. One of her pills has a bad taste to it, so she often wouldn't eat her food because she still had the bitter taste in her mouth. This dispenser allows you to easily put the pill far enough into the back of their mouth that they can't spit it out. Review: In having to for the first time as a daily routine, give a cat medication it’s very dependent on the cat and does require a lot of experience or an abundance of YouTube tutorials, especially when you’re dealing with a sick animal you don’t want to stress it anymore than it already is, I am not a professional veterinary technician, or anything like that, but for 20 days straight I just got through taking care of a beloved animal, along with a product like this if there’s any stress on the animal immediately have a veterinary technician simply do it for you and help you to learn as it takes effort, and some basic knowledge. for most animal lovers it’s whatever the cost and vets are usually very willing to help with these things. My specific issue was swollen lymph nodes so the cat already did not want to eat or drink, you have to get it “the pill“ at least 2/3 past the tongue basically down the throat that’s why it is called a pill gun, it’s why it has suction and literally shoots the pill because if you simply try to put one in by hand, the cat will spit it out somewhere and quickly learns to spit it out when you are not looking. Anyways, my point if your animal actually needs medication it’s usually not a good scenario and you don’t want your animal under any more stress than it already is so a device like this is extremely handy, and it becomes habit and routine for the animal very quickly once it’s learned how to use properly, I thought YouTube tutorials would be enough but one person is not enough unless they are a expert technician. One thing I am positive of the faster the better and quick and easy and painless so there’s no stress or discomfort to the animal in question- so all the YouTube tutorials you can watch and Most are making it look like it’s really easy and it is not! 100% have a professional technician help you a few times whether you bring your cat to the vet or they come to you, it’s a service most that’s offer and for the love of your animals absolutely necessary to do it properly. The product works wonderful, there’s some more sleek designs that are a little more appropriate as the less the animal sees the less it is prone to be weary of what’s in front of it, kind of like seeing a large needle as opposed to a very small needle for a human. But like I said it works and it’s just a tool, so it needs to be used properly and assuming you love your animal and you’re buying this for that reason 100% if it does not go smoothly the first time, talk to your veterinary office immediately for assistance, then it quickly becomes a routine. For the price and the fact that it works overall it’s a decent product, you can’t put a price tag on taking care of your animal properly but also unless your animal requires medication daily for the rest of his life, you do not need a professional grade pill shooter, so if something like this works just fine short term. (don't use the cracks to clamp pills, please use the 2 sides of the silicone tip to clamp pills). Another tip has no cracks and can be used for feeding water or liquid medicine. (If the crack is not large enough to clamp the pill, you can use scissors to enlarge the crack. The tip for liquid feeding can also be cut cracks to feed the pill.) This product does not have a spring device, so the pill will not pop out quickly, but will be pushed out.
- Made of high quality silica gel, reusable and washable. Product size: 5.9x1.97inches. Product weight: 1.06 ounce. Especially for feeding solid medicines, pills, capsules to pets. (It's suitable for size of pill between 0.15-0.4 inches.)

A: Jorgensen Pet Piller works better. I got this one and the two pills my cat takes would not fit. It was worthless.

A: Hello, I'm glad you can raise such a question. I think most customers are interested in it. This product is really a little difficult for novices. This requires some skill and patience, not brute force.

The product currently has about 2100 positive ratings and 1300 critical ratings. I'm so happy that most customers think it's useful. I can also understand the customers who give us bad reviews. They may be in real trouble for some reasons. Human nature is like this, when you feel bad, you have a high probability of giving a bad review, but when you feel good, you may not want to waste time to leave a good review. 

A small number of people said the product cause choking, mostly because the soft silicone tip fell. About the tip falling, I really think it's a very very small probability. Because when you install the soft tip correctly (there is a display of the tip installation in the main images, and there is the note in the text description), even if you pull it very hard, or even pull the translucent soft silicone tip to the white color, you can't pull it off (this power can lift a cat). You can try it!

You may don't install the tip correctly and push the tip into the pet's throat too hard, causing the throat to jam the tip and drop it. 
But I think as long as you install the tip correctly, you can prevent the tip from falling and choking. Before you use it, try to test the firmness of the tip. Be patient and you'll use it well. If you really think it's unhelpful, you can return it.

**Q: How many pets have accidentally ingested the tip?**
A: None; however, I made sure the tip is completely seated on the plunger/syringe device

**Q: Why does Amazon continue to let this product be sold, when the reviews indicate how dangerous it is?**
A: Dangerous? Not at all. No worse than holding a pill in your hand and trying to get it down the back of their throat to swallow.
