I have tried alot of similar prodicts that have supplements and I have found most of them to be all marketing and no science. I do my work before buying any vitamin or supplement since this industry is full of frauds. Most are useless or actually dangerous. What convinced me to try Genuine was the quality of their ingredients. Most products market their generic ingredients but never disclose their source. I often call companies and never get a response. Red flag. Genuine uses only certified US sourced ingredients that come with their clincial validation studies. The names of the labs are on the box. I checked them out and they are very legit. Now, when I made my first cup, I was honestly expecting it to taste like medicine. As a thirty year coffee snob (I have roasted my own green beans in the past), I thought it was too much to expect it to both taste good and have the quality nutraceuticals. To my astonishment, it tastes GREAT. Since I drink my coffee black, I can tell they use very high quality coffee and its fresh. I can taste the nutraceuticals but the taste is overall very good and smooth. I would even drink this without the benefit of the supplements. Since I just started drinking this coffee, I cannot comment on the weight management and will update my post in a few weeks.
