I took my dog for a walk at 30 degrees. My fingers were freezing and I had to alternate putting my hands in my coat pocket. I went biking at 45 degrees. At 15-20mph my fingers were again freezing (wind factor). I'm a pretty hearty athlete; these did not accomplish keeping my fingers warm at all. These are nice looking and comfortable for walking Southern California-type chilly mornings or running above freezing temps.
