When you get this duvet insert you are going to say WHAT! You have to follow the instructions to fluff this thing up with the included paddles and once you do that you will be amazed by how fluffy, soft and luxurious it is. This Duvet insert has real down, and some processed "feather fiber." I have other down comforters that are mostly feathers and every once in a while, you will feel a little pin prick (there'll be no more Ahhhhhhaahhh, but you may feel a little sick - Pink Floyd). I haven't experienced that with this comforter, and it is much fluffier and softer than the feather comforters. They claim that this down is responsibly and ethically sourced, and I hope that isn't just marketing hype. I eat meat and wear leather shoes, so I guess I won't lose too much sleep over some goose getting his down plucked, but I would not want to intentionally inflict suffering on any animal. OK, that out of the way, there really is no equivalent man-made material yet that compares to the properties of goose down for comforters or jackets. If there was, I would gladly buy it, even if it cost more. This comforter is really nice. I'm sure you could get an all down comforter for much more money, but I'm not sure it could be enough of an improvement to justify the premium. It's impossible to tell what the composition of the insulation in a comforter like this is without tearing it apart. You hope for the best. But even if this is stuffed primarily with feathers, this is a nice-looking-and feeling comforter. The stitching is quality. It seems like a fairly substantial comforter. At the price, my wife and I are pleased. We're not big down comforter fans. We'd rather have a Hudson Bay wool blanket on our bed. But for a guest room, we're pleased.(BTW, as a Vine reviewer I got this for free in return for this review. But we would likely pay the price of this comforter if it weren't available to us through Vine.)

This is a medium feel comforter and it will definitely keep you warm. It's soft, feather down, very comfortable and i love the grey color, and the king size is true to the measurements

Like: no smell! Goose down thick and all weather. Let's me change up room whenever I want with various winter and summer covers. So versatile. Needed a large insert and prices are so hong.Love thus and hope it lasts for a long time!

This is an excellent comforter in almost everyway except one. But first this comforter has many good points. It is soft, warm, comfortable, and well made. It has a fine mix of down and feathers. And the outer cover is probably the nicest material I have ever seen on a comforter like this one. The outer shell has a very high thread count making it soft and strong. It is also a heavier material then you normally see. So you will have no problems with feathers poking through. The only problem see with this is the pocket squares of the comforter is larger than normal. With a down comforter it always better with smaller squares to keep the filling inplace. But overall an excellent product.

I chose this duvet because it looked fluffy in the ad pictures. It came well packed vacuum sealed in a bag inside another bag in a box. The duvet is nice and soft and a little fluffy (I’m sure it will fluff up in time, but if not it came with a cardboard hand you can tap it with to make it fluff up lol), with little loops to tie the duvet cover to. Everything is well sewn and looks durable, and it’s a crisp white color. Overall I think it’s worth the price, and I can’t wait to use it this winter!

My wife was wanting a lightweight comforter for our guest bed and glad to have found the MAXICOZY Luxury Goose Feather Down Comforter. It's super soft and is made very well. The quilted squares are nice and large and are filled well, providing a soft and fluffy feel. Exactly what my wife was looking for and now says we should use it on our bed by how impressed she is with it.

I've tried 3 duvets this summer and this one is by far the best! It's over $150 less than the most expensive one I tried and is by far the better of the two for value. It's lightweight and keeps you very warm – it'll be awesome in the winter! I'm so pleased with this purchase.
