Bought our first one April 2 and our second August 31, our third is being purchased today, 19 November. Apparently, they do not have long useful lifetimes. So, based on our experience, these water heaters are unreliable. Then again, we were using them to heat several 5 gallon buckets for bathing every day. They do as the other reviewers reported. We have been careful not to let them stick out of the water, or get removed from the water without first disconnecting the plug, or let them bang around, carelessly. Not providing any certifications or other technical information is, IMO, a breach of customer rights, if such still exists in today’s world. People need more useful information about products rather than less, like we get when shopping on Amazon. Everybody needs to write thoughtful reviews. That’s our only hope of getting responsible suppliers to participate.
