Gear Tactical Travel Tray

I travel occasionally and when I do so I always have accessories or stuff in my pocket that I empty out when I get to my destination. Usually I have enough stuff to make a giant piled mess that spills over or spreads out over time and some of my stuff gets misplaced due to this. This Maxpedition travel tray has been a game changer for me. First and foremost it's very easy to pack away into my luggage because you can lay it out flat or roll it up to however you need it to store. I personally go for the flat configuration because it's hardly thick enough to make much of a difference to your luggage. It can be buttoned up to shape itself into a small tray that holds all your knick knacks and more. I like that it's got a textured rubberized bottom that allows it to stay stationary when you place it on any surface so it wont go sliding around freely. It's got minimal branding (tasteful as always with Maxpedition) and great construction with high quality materials overall. When you snap it into a tray it doesn't have the biggest surface area for putting stuff into it however. If you've got an exceptionally large long wallet for example, it might not fit into the space completely. For most people this shouldn't be an issue, at least it wasn't for me. This is one of those things that isn't entirely necessary to have but makes the quality of life much better when you travel. I highly recommend it!

In my opinion this is the perfect Men’s Valet for my needs. I love how it folds flat. I have taken mine on many trips by just throwing it in my bag or suitcase. The one thing that stands out to me is the pockets on the backside. They are perfect for business cards or envelopes and lottery tickets. This product is indestructible and for the price point is very well worth it. It can hold all my EDC…wallet,keys,AirPods,work ID’s,small pocket knife,chapstick,loose change and my watch. I liked it so much I ended up buying a second one. Maxpedition makes excellent products.

Useful for storing everyday items while traveling. It’s nice to have a designated place for when I’m emptying out my pocket at the end of a day in a hotel.

This certainly seems well made it just isn't exactly what I imagined when I read the description and looked at the pictures. It is much stiffer than I thought it would be and the fabric lining much rougher. I can't quite figure out how I would use the small pockets. They don't really fit things that I want to put in it so all they're doing for me is adding to the stiffness. The elastic strap in the bottom becomes loose when you fold this in the tray mode so doesn't hold anything. So like with the pockets I don't know what I would use it for. As I said before, it is a well made product and if you have things to put in it that fit with its design, it may work very well for you. for me, I wish I would have spent less money on one without the extra features.

This was an impulse buy, however I am pleasantly suprised how useful it has become. After work it's nice to empty out my pockets, knowing where everything is if needed again.... lighter, beard comb, ect. The quality is top notch, with strong button snaps. It's a little flimsy when loaded with heavier objects in the rear pockets, but a wallet or what not on the bottom will way it down. Folds up easily and compact, making this great for when I stay with my ladie or elsewhere. The outer bottom material is a grippy , rubber texture, making it some what water proof. I'm pleased, and expect this to last years! Cheers

When I get home, I toss the contents of my pockets into a basket so it's all there when I head out the next day. This is the same as I do things when traveling. I would always toss my stuff on the dresser in the hotel room and that was that. I was shopping for some other stuff for my next trip and this popped up on my Amazon list. I jumped at it and it has performed fantastic. Not only does it hold the stuff in my pockets, there's also a couple of pockets on the vertical part to hold an ID card, coupons or any other flat items. When the trip is over, just pop the snaps and it goes completely flat to toss in my suitcase.
