Don't be a damp squid!
This is a brilliant product, especially for those who have ventured into the Multi-Fuel / Wood Burning Stove market. This meter tells you in seconds whether the logs are dry enough to use or not. Simple to set up, press one button push the two pins against the log and take a reading, could not be simpler. Less moisture means less spitting as the log is fired and less soot accumulating in your chimney. It can also be used to check dampness in walls.

Works as well as a more expensive model
Seems to work fine. It is small and looks a bit cheap, but I have tested it against a more expensive machine and it agrees within 1%. I have only tested it on wood.
