And to think I almost didn't order these! I would have been missing out for sure!I have a lot of swing top bottles because I do a lot of fermenting: kombucha, ginger beer, and many other yummy things make it into various sized bottles. The bottles have to seal well and have a good thickness and strong bail wire to hold the pressurized contents. Usually the bail is where I lose confidence, and that's typical with budget priced bottles.But not these! They meet all my criteria for a good sturdy bottle. AND on top of that, they are very smartly designed with flat sides/ squared bottoms - now why aren't most bottles designed that way? There must be a good reason, but these squared sides allow for much more efficient storage in a cabinet or the fridge door etc. I can't wait to get a batch of hot sauce going in these bottles! If I had just one teeny tiny wish, they would be a little taller and more narrow rather than the somewhat squat shape we have here, again just to make better use of storage space. But that's just a personal preference from someone who always has too many bottles on hand lol.These bottles are a really great value for this price (currently just $18 for a 12 pack). I highly recommend them!
