The filters are suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums. Hang on back filters are ideal for creating more space inside the aquarium where a traditional internal filter would take up too much space. With these filters, they are hung over the back of the tank, therefore saving space. These filters also help to oxygenate the water due to the water cascading back into the aquarium. The new design filter provides mechanical, biological and chemical filtration thanks to the easy changeable filter cartridges containing activated carbon.
