Nice, though a few issues
I really want to like this station a ton... there are a few issues that i wish were smoother. The display is somewhat hard to read if you’re not straight on. I knew it wasn’t a bright LED screen, but it’s tough to read if you’re off angle or too far away. However, it’s real strength is the ability to get data in HomeKit and the Eve app. The logged data is really nice. The other quibble is Bluetooth strength. Until I get Thread hooked up, I was expecting connectivity to be ~OK from about 20 ft. Unfortunately, it’s not, though admittedly signal has to go through a 4 inch brick wall. I have to put my phone almost next to the device to get readings and data. I need Thread ASAP! I am putting one up in the attic, too, to keep tabs on stored items and high summer temps. Device is well made, attractively smallish, and hopefully durable! UPDATE after ~9 moths of use: Once I installed a HomePod mini, this little device has been flawless! Clearly, thread is a key to make this unit connect reliably, download logged data, and provide exactly what I've needed in my two installed locations. I was a bit worried about the one in the attic (temps up to ~135°F), but it has been rock solid. My recommendation is to make sure you have a thread border router (HP Mini or AppleTV) in your system, and then enjoy!

Very Disappointing. Not accurate and has a poor range.
I purchased this along with several other Temperature/Humidity sensors. It worked, but not well. The Eve Weather station I tested didn't appear to be very accurate. I had four old analog sensors which I was trying to replace with smart sensors. The old analog sensors were always within 1 degree and 1 percent humidity of each other, and of the Honeywell HVAC system we have. I tested all the sensors in a variety of locations (inside, outside, garage, attic and basement), and let the devices adjust for at least 30 minutes in each spot. All of the other smart sensors I purchased were within 2 degrees and 2 percent humidity of the Honeywell HVAC system and the old analog sensors. The Eve weather sensor was consistently over 5-7 degrees higher and over 8-12 percent higher for humidity. The Eve Weather Station is the only HomeKit device I've added (I have about 20) that didn't just work when being added. I had to try three times, with two factory resets to get it to connect. The range of the Eve sensor was the poorest of the sensors I was testing, and HomeKit would often not show the same temperature and humidity that the device displayed. 60 feet away from the HomeKit hub, through an outside wall, it would not update. It's supposed to be an outdoor sensor. I also had to download the Eve app to change the measurements from Celsius to Fahrenheit, even though I didn't need it for anything else. Finally, this device cost twice what any of the other sensors I purchased costs. Maybe I got a defective device, but at no point did it not work. It just never worked well. Overall this was an incredibly disappointing purchase. The best thing about this purchase was the ease of returning it to Amazon.

real time and historical weather data
Works great! Nice App and HomeKit compatibility. I have it mounted near the eave of the roof so it's always in the shade. The high temps are always a tad higher that official weather station reports, but it always matches a separate temp sensor on the other side of the house, so I feel it's accurate. It's been working for a few years and replaced the battery two or three times.

Got it working with Home Assistant, original attery lasted 5 months
[updated another 6 months later] Eve sent me a replacement unit which worked as expected….for 6 months. One day it just disappeared off my network (last reading showed 85% battery left. After some troubleshooting it turned out that I did have a bad battery so the battery level reporting on these things is not remotely accurate. I would just plan to replace the battery every 6 months when it just disappears and stops reporting data. Eve also promised a firmware update for Eve Weather to support Matter (one of the biggest reasons I chose this device over others) a year ago and has not yet delivered. Given the price of these things I expected a product with the basics like battery level reporting to work and software updates to be delivered in a timely manner. It’s cool that it supports Thread and is wireless, but there are some other solutions out there that can do what this does at half the price - they’re not as sleek and compact but they work. [updated 5 months later] A few weeks ago the device got kind of flaky and would drop off the network and reappear. Eventually it died. I contacted support wh suggested replacing the battery. I informed them that the battery level indicator had been showing 100% but support said try it anyway. I did and it started working again. Apparently the battery indicator is not working right now and is not to be believed. Eve Engineering is aware and working on a software fix. I was a bit disappointed that the battery lasted only 5 months. We’ll see how long it NEW battery lasts. The documentation says a battery should last 1 year. So..1 star off for non working battery indicator and possibly shorter battery life than advertised. Matter support is still planned for “later this year” [original review] Although not “officially” supported I was able to get this weather station working with Home Assistant. You do need a thread border router and HomeKit to get it primed but just for initial setup. 1) First pair with HomeKit (this is required add the device to your thread network). Press button on back and put it on your Apple TV. Follow pairing directions. 2) Once you can see it in HomeKit and the Eve app, delete it from HomeKit. Unless you reset it, it will remain on your Thread network even if deleted from Homekit. 3) Press (do not hold) the button on the back and then look for the Weather Station in your devices in Home Assistant (it will appear as a Homekit device). I had to put it on top of my Apple TV too. 4) Add it via Homekit Controller add-on to Home Assistant. Done. Things to keep in mind: As of right now the Eve app only works with Homekit so all the stuff you get in the app like hyperlocal forecasting and firmware updates will not work - it will have to be re-paired with Homekit for firmware updates. Eve Weather Station runs on Thread but DOES NOT support Matter yet. Eve promised it’s coming via firmware update but as of right now it uses Homekit over Thread so Home Assistant is able to use it via Homekit add-on NOT Matter. So yes it works, you do lose some cloud based functionality but if you want all local with no dependency on cloud and no data leakage then this will work.

Très satisfait - agréable de suivre la température extérieure - très précis Un bémol la distance entre le smartphone et le thermomètre est assez faible

I'm very disappointed in this device - the display is mostly unreadable (no backlight and very poor contrast even with new/full battery) though I'm not too concerned about that as I was going to use this outdoors for remote reading. The main problem is that the device is inaccurate. it is off by 0.3C (the device reads 0.3C higher than the actual temperature) which is a lot of error for such an expensive temperature/humidity sensor. I contacted the manufacturer and they said this is acceptable and within spec, and that there is no way to calibrate the device, or compensate in the app/etc for the error. This is a big issue when trying to detect when it reaches freezing outside. I have several other far cheaper temperature sensors that are all far more accurate than this one. The humidity value reads correctly though. I would definitely not recommend this device (my return window has unfortunately closed), it is not very accurate (esp for the price) and the display is essentially unusable, even in bright sunlight.
