Unlike roller cutters and scissors, this cutter just rocks side to side, so I warn that fingers should be kept behind the blade to avoid adding extra 'sauce'.To use this cutter, I found it worked best on a flat surface; in fact I have yet to find something suitable for cutting on a plate with raised edges, other than pizza scissors. One of the things I like about this cutter is it is less prone to pushing the coating away from the blade, which I have found common on most roller cutters that do not use a large wheel.The best thing about this blade is that if the pizza to be cut in smaller diameter than the blade length on the cutter it is just a case of inserting the blade at the middle and rocking both ways to complete the cut.Over all a nice blade, though I caution care when fitting the guard as the blade widens the narrow slot to fit. Ideally the slot should have been wider with some form of retaining clip rather than rely on friction.

This pizza cutter must be the best one I have ever used it is simply awesome and the build quality exceptional they even include a cover for the blade I can't wait to start using it I have tested it on toast and it's glides through like a razor blade great piece of kitchen equipment which I'm sure will get a great deal of use very highly recommended

Oggetto davvero ben fatto, con un bel manico robusto e fodero proteggi lama per evitare di tagliarsi, anche se la lama non è affilata a mo' di rasoio.Il tutto lavabile in lavastoviglie.L'idea della mezzaluna non è affatto male, (se avete quella per le verdure potete usare quella), peccato che abbia un limite strutturale.Se la pizza si trova su una superficie piana, nessun problema, ma se si trova su un piatto con i bordi (e tutti i piatti ce li hanno), risulta impossibile tagliare il "cornicione", a meno di non spostare la pizza per portare i bordi al centro del piatto.Insomma, un bell'oggetto, ma non adatto a molte situazioni comuni.
