Greatly helpful with a little challenge to get set up.
Pros:• Effective Assistance: Provides substantial support for pull-ups, making it accessible for users not yet proficient in unassisted pull-ups.• Sturdy Construction: Well-made with durable materials, suitable for bodyweight exercises and various gym routines.• Versatile Use: Besides pull-up assistance, adaptable for a range of exercises like dips and stretches, enhancing workout flexibility.• Comfortable Design: Adjustable straps and foot support ensure comfort during use, minimizing strain.Cons:• Learning Curve: Requires adjustment to find the optimal setup for individual needs; lack of included instructions can be a drawback for new users.• Length Considerations: It can be challenging to adjust to the correct length for a workout, which affects its effectiveness in providing assistance throughout the pull-up motion.Review Summary: I have struggled with pull ups for a long time. I am a fairly large guy with long arms making the exercise challenging. The Kipika Pull Up Bands with Dip Belt have proven invaluable in my home gym routine. As a larger person this product offers reliable assistance without concerns about handling my body weight. The belt and resistance bands are robustly constructed, although adjusting them initially posed a learning curve. Once dialed in, they provide excellent support for a full workout. This product is nicer then most other assistance bands I have seen, and the price point isn’t really different. Its worth a buy.Final Thoughts: Despite the initial adjustment challenges, the Kipika Pull Up Bands with Dip Belt are a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to enhance their strength training at home. Their versatility and sturdy build make them suitable for both beginners and seasoned fitness enthusiasts seeking reliable workout support. This is a review of a product received for free via the Amazon Vine Program. Confusing to Set Up, But Okay Now, Better than Cheaper Alternatives and Worth the Price!
We struggled to set this up. By way of background, this is not our first pull up assist device. Others are just more bands that you can easily put under your knee or foot, or not. This is a little different and takes a moment to dial in. Out of the box it looks like a medusa-head of rope and tethers that is a little overwhelming.Once you figure it out, it is actually pretty nice. It feels like the bands are smoother than some of the cheaper brands, maybe the material is a little better quality. It also doesn't damage the pull-up bar at all with scraping or anything. The two of us have used it, and maybe for me I am at the point where I am between two levels of assistance; one too light, one just too heavy I can't get enough reps. For my spouse, there's a perfect setting. I imagine as I get stronger, the heavier setting will work out for me.We've used it awhile and held off on the review because we weren't too sure of it and if it is worth the higher price than the cheaper ones. However, we think it is because it is really holding up and there's no signs of wear. Whereas with the other cheaper ones, you generally have to replace them after year or two. I don't think that's going to be the case with this one, so it will probably save money in the long run or at least break even.Overall, we recommend this product and think it will help us meet our fitness goals while also being safe and affordable.

It Helps
We've never used one of these before, so having instructions for setup would be helpful for the newbies. Also if you are just one person using this with your pull up bar setup, once you set it up and find the right and comfortable adjustment thru trial and error, you'll be good to go.If it is being used for two or more people and varying weight and height, then you'll need to tinker with the band adjustments frequently. There is no way around that. It's sturdy though. It has sewn-in and doubled-over loop for extra strentgh at the bungee cord. As stated above, we are new to using one of these and it will take a while to get used to in regard to getting the settings adjusted right.

solid assist performance…
This pull-up assist is designed to cinch around a pipe chin-up bar or similar piece of equipment. I don’t have that, so I knew I would be trying to adapt this piece of equipment to work with the climbing hangboard which I do have set up. I used my own elastic and turned the Kipika adjusting straps around (see photo). It works great — more stable, more comfortable, and more easily adjusted than my single loop of 1” web. It is also easier to put away instead of blocking a doorway. It comes without instructions, and I see from other reviews that it can be confusing to configure — just one of the images in the listing is helpful in showing the intended setup (copy attached to my review). The setup and take down has one detail to call out. The hooks for fastening to a bar will hold the looped webbing very securely — so, safety. But the fit is so snug that it is a major hassle to get them unhooked — especially at arm’s length. If the plan was taking them to the gym and putting them away or taking them home after a session, that might not work so well. The quality of parts and construction seem very well done — not fall protection strong, but body weight strong. I’m not familiar with the use of a dip belt, but I guess the foot saddle could work for that. Durability of the elastics will take time to evaluate — the single bungie strands are terminated in self-loops by aluminum swaged sleeves with a plastic cover. In static loading, these things tend to fail gradually with wear or damage — inspect your equipment and don’t risk your safety on worn gear.
