First off I love this shoe. It was advertised as a hiking shoe as opposed to a walking shoe. As such I was concerned this might be heavier than my other "walking" shoes. These aren't. They are surprisingly lightweight but do function as quality hiking shoe.I do most of my walking on the side of the road and our local bike path. But I do get off onto woods trails on occasion too. So far these have handled everything I've put them through with shining colors.When I first put these on I walked around my block just to give them a tryout. They fit perfectly so the sizing is as expected. I believe I have pretty normal feet. Not overly wide, my arches are good and these fit perfectly. These hug my feet securely without feeling cramped or tight. I went on a 12 mile hike today and when I got home my wife snagged me for some chores. It's now four hours since I finished my walk and I just realized I'm still wearing the shoes. Thats to say how comfortable they are.These are very well made and though they flex comfortably they've also got enough stiffness so stepping on tree roots and the like is no problem. It rained last night and I made a point to step in a couple of puddles-just tobe sure and yeah they are waterproof.These are a great pair of all around walking shoes. Comfort, fit, support. I'm very satisfied with this product.

I really didn't expect these shoes to be so great. For the price I was hopeful but have been let down before. Not this time. These shoes are built very well, have a thick sole that along with the inner cushion provide remarkable support and comfort. The sizing was perfect, and they look good. All the seams are well sealed, the mesh is breathable, and the bottom grips work great on everything as well as a dirt trail. After walking for a few miles, my feet felt great. I've paid a lot more for shoes that were not as comfortable as these are… Love them and don't have any notable flaws to mention. Hope this info helps.

the first thing that really stood out to me is the soles. theyre super thick compared to any shoe i have ever worn. this is a good thing though, as they are super comfortable. the quality of the shoes are great. stitching and craftsmanship is on point. size 12 fits true to size.

LOVE these hiking shoes. Amazingly comfortable on my feet and they also look awesome. I wear 11.5-12 and can vary. I opted to go for 12 due to possible swelling on longer hikes. These fit perfect! I MAY have been able to fit the 11.5s, but glad I got the 12s. I feel like I can jog/run very well in them as well and my feet don’t feel like they get overheated. These are a must get if you’re an active person on all kinds of terrain. They will boost up your height too- ha! Great shoes by Columbia!
