Cavallo ELB Regular Sole Hoof Boot

I ended up returning these because I needed a slim, but I ended up going through the manufacturer and got them a lot cheaper and they also threw in extra products, but I love the product itself. I have a mare that throws shoes all the time and cannot grow foot, so I use these to help keep her foot growing and keep her feet healthy.

The spare tire for your horse. I kept this in my canticle bag as a. ‘just in case’. 10 miles out my horse threw 2 front shoes, we put the boot on the sorest foot and it really helped her to get back without too much discomfort. Shoe stayed in thick mud and river crossings. Very pleased with my purchase.

I have a mare that consistently overreaches and pulled a shoe despite her bell boots. Farrier was on vacation and because she will also chip hoof like crazy, I bought this and she wore it 12/14 hours a day for turnout and riding for a week and a half! Worked great and I was impressed at how well it held up. I will keep it as a spare “shoe” for this happening again!

Great boots. Easy to put on. Noticeable difference on rocky terrain with sensitive feet. The only thing I'm not thrilled with is the Velcro closing. Although they are replaceable, when riding through thick grass it tends to come loose. I use extra reinforcement on long rides.

This review has nothing to do with the quality or durability of this boot and everything to with the discription and that you only get ONE boot!! How bout you try running around with only one shoe! How bout saying ANYWHERE in you item discription that you only get one boot so people know!

Very tricky to fit. Had to rasp feet. But once you get it well worth the time and effort. Great product
