Another 5mm of chain would make it easier to slip on and off while not needing to operate the clasp at all. But I can still do it. I haven’t worn anything around my neck for 50 years (dogtags). But this is very comfortable, snag-free, beautiful, and a perfectly sized design. Stays oriented forward- neither over or understated in my opinion. I bought both colors to better coordinate with clothing. The clasp is well made and man-sized hands can work it well.
