It is neither cheap nor expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of accuracy and build quality. I tested with weights and it is accurate within 0.1%. If you have an entry level machine like the Bambino Plus and are looking for a solid scale, this is the one. My favorite part is it's small enough for a shot glass, but also big enough to hold a 16oz mug without obscuring the buttons. My only complaint is I wish the case was a little easier to open, but since it's not part of the scale it's a trivial detail and easy to overlook.

Overall pretty solid. The numbers are bright enough and clear enough, and I also like that it automatically starts the timer when the espresso hits the scale, which makes it really easy to use. I think the battery is pretty good, I’ve only charged it once since owning it for more than 4 months. I only use it for espresso, i haven’t used it for anything else like a pourover. I don’t turn it off using the switch but I’m glad it’s there just in case. I just press and hold the power button and it goes to sleep, then just a press and hold again turns it on. One small complaint is that the rubber cover mat is just useless. I tried to keep it on the scale for a couple days but it simply doesn’t stay on and is all misaligned. I just threw away the rubber mat, and I don’t miss it. I think the price is good for what it is. I wouldn’t pay too much for for it, though. I’d recommend it if you don’t have an espresso scale, and it could really even function as your pourover scale too if you don’t have one, although I haven’t tried that.

I’m really happy with this scale. It strikes the right balance between quality and price. Wouldn’t you know it, I had to purchase this to replace something cheaper that failed within 60 days. I really like the feature on the timer that starts the timer once the espresso starts to drip. (I use this scale exclusively for making espresso.) It’s smaller than the previous scale I purchased from Amazon and I like this. It’s attractive too. I would say it’s a good value for the money, has nice build quality, and is easy to use.

The Exagram Pro is elegant, precise, and very well built. Just be careful with the rubber protector—it tends to slide off easily and could get lost if you’re not paying attention. I didn’t check the dimensions before buying, and it turned out too small for my V60 02 server, so I’ll need to get a smaller one. I still have to explore all its features, but so far I really like it and definitely recommend it.

I bought this for measuring espresso beans (and output). Accurate and consistent, which is the main thing you want from a scale. However, even after leaving it to charge overnight it shows 1 battery bar. There’s no indicator if it’s charging, or charging is complete. I tried different chargers and cables just in case. The button to turn on and off is a finicky sliding thing that can’t be done one handed. You have to push with your nail, and I wish the buttons themselves would have been actual buttons and not sliders. Edit: after reading the manual again, I noticed the battery is supposed to light up when charging. I went on a hunt for even more chargers and USB-C cables. On my 4th (!) combination the scale lit up and started charging. So upping by 1-star. Charging port way too finicky though.

I'm new to home espresso making. My research convinced me that I needed a halfway decent scale to have a fighting chance for decent espresso. This scale is more than halfway decent. And the price won't, hopefully for most people, completely break the bank. I like the compact size, the different modes, and the timer that will start automatically in espresso mode when it senses the shot has started.

Great little coffee scale. It’s accurate, responsive, and does exactly what it’s meant to. The battery lasts a long time, too, which is a nice bonus.

I am very pleased with this item. It has made a great difference to my coffee making. Accurate and the espresso setting is well worth having.
