I just purchased the Madame Leota crystal ball at Disney World without the $49.00 Disney lighted base. I knew Amazon would have a good base at a lower price. I am not disappointed. The concave model holds the crystal ball firmly and the lower height is better than the Disney model. I love the color changing modes and the brightness of the LEDS. I highly recommend this well made product.

I bought this to put my husbands glass solar system ball on and it works amazing, the colors are really pretty I’ve owned it for a few months and have had no issues.

It does sometimes just turn on by itself and that can be kinda annoying.

My sons love crystals so they were really excited to put a crystal on this light and have it glow at bedtime!

Don't expect this to turn a crystal globe into a light. It gives my 4' orb a soft accent. Most important to me was being able to run it on batteries. It will glow more fully the further it is placed below eye level. I like the simple design. the base is very light, but the ball is plenty heavy is secure in the dimple. I would have liked to have been able to purchase the base in a dark color; ideally I'd like dark wood base with adjustable light brightness.

The way it looks in the photo gives the impression that it works like a black light but it doesn’t , it’s a black base with multi colored light, not good if you’re looking to use it as UV light to display something like a uranium vase

I love the separate light colors and indent to hold my crystal balls and small specimens. Battery and plugin are you kidding me? Yea, man.
