Needed this to install my tin ceiling tiles. Pneumatic was out of the question.Read about this in a home improvement review, in the comments section. It's truly a nice piece of kit. My arms got tired way before the battery needed to be recharged.

Love this nail gun. Used it for multiple simple projects around the house without any issues.

I used this SKIL nailer the other day to install baseboard using 2” brads. Worked effectively. I'd rate overall tool quality as good.I've had a Metabo HPT cordless 18ga brad nailer for several years and absolutely love it. My review of this SKIL brad nailer will rely heavily upon comparison to that Metabo HPT brad nailer.The weight of this SKIL brad nailer is very much on the heavy side. Cordless nailers are always going to be significantly heavier than pneumatic nailers, of course, as they have to build the power supply into the nailer itself. But this is still quite a heavy tool taking that into consideration, being nearly one and half pounds heavier than my cordless Metabo HPT nailer. This SKIL brad nailer is also a slightly larger tool.Firing a brad is also significantly different than a pneumatic. With a pneumatic, the brad fires immediately with the trigger pull. This SKIL brad nailer has a split second delay as the tool winds up to fire the brad. In comparison, my Metabo HPT brad nailer fires instantaneously with trigger pull – just like a pneumatic. This SKIL nailer takes some getting used to as you can't go as fast – it's easy to pull the tool away too soon due to the delay in firing, causing brads to not sink entirely.I rate this as an adequate cordless 18ga brad nailer. It gets the job done, but it's far from best in class. As such, I would only recommend this brad nailer to someone already invested in SKIL cordless tools and doesn't want multiple batteries. If that isn't you or you just want a professional tool for about the same price as this SKIL, I would recommend the Metabo HPT 18ga brad nailer. That nailer with battery and charger is presently priced similarly ($199).

Al principio tenia un poco de miedo de que no aguantara mucho el trote sobre todo porque es un poco mas económica que otras pero estoy sorprendido, funciona a la perfección, no se me a trabado ni una vez aunque use los disparos muy rápido, esta aguantando perfectamente el uso rudo que le damos, la recomiendo ampliamente

En general muy bienSolo que es pesada para manejar y se traba alguna vez. Nada grave.
