Product arrived not as described on the Amazon web page. Contrary to the description stated on Amazon, namely "Comes with UK Mains Adapto", the watchwinder came with a power adaptor fitted with a two-pin European plug rather than a UK plug. Seller responded to report of this problem by return and dispatched UK mains adaptor. Watchwinder was easy to set up and thus far is working just fine.

Despite the settings being a bit fiddly it does the job.......especially for Rolex which many of the competitors products cannot handle....a bit pricey but service and delivery good.

An easy to use but solid & attractive functional piece of kit - clear instructions & even with my somewhat stubby fingers I was able to change the settings easily enough. Extremely pleased with the item & compliments my watches nicely

I've had this item running continuously now for over 12 months, my 1st impression is that of a finely finished, quality product, which is both attractive & expensive looking.The speed settings are very small, rather fiddly & can be difficult to set if you have large fingers, but once set correctly you shouldn't have to worry about re-settings unless you have several watches which require different speeds.I had to do some research to find out what all my watches minimum winding requirements were which took some doing, so would have appreciated more info from the instruction literature on how to obtain this.I keep the winder on a dressing table close to my bed so quiet operation was an important feature. This unit is not exactly silent, but is quiet enough not to be a problem, however I have noticed that the left side is slightly noisier than the right.Each side of the winder works completely independently from the other & can be set to operate on completely different settings, including clockwise, anti clockwise or uni-directional depending on individual watch requirements.one of the major problems I have noted with watch winders is the size of the watch beds, in my experience no winder can accommodate every size of watch regardless of strap length, however this winder does come close. The beds are firm but compressible, they are fully round in shape at 3 o'clock & 9 o'clock for the larger watches & those with long bracelets. At 12 o'clock & 6 o'clock the beds are flattened to accommodate smaller watches with short bracelets. The clearance from watch face to the glass front panel is rather small, so it is important to make sure the bed is pressed down fully before closing the lid, this can be difficult because the beds fit very snugly into their respective turntables giving you the feeling you are pushing to hard & risking damage to the mechanism.The winder works from a mains powered transformer, with a battery pack option available separately, however the winder is probably to big to be placed in a suitcase so not what I would call portable.Although this winder does appear expensive, when you compare like for like with other winders priced considerably higher I would say this is very good value & would definitely recommend it.
