I purchased the Greater Goods High Capacity Kitchen Scale to replace a 30-year-old mechanical one--same capacity. I bought this one because it seemed to have a larger and higher panthan competitors so that I could see the readout if I put large objects on the pan..unlke a similar digital scale I purchased for my business which had a pan so low that the readout is frequently obscured by the object being weighed.The Greater Goods High Capacity Kitchen Scale is smaller than I envisoned from the add photo (I thought that the bowl held oranges, but on close inspection (after I got the scale) the bowl had orange lemons. However, because the readout is set forward and at a slight angle, I can still read the display with a solid object with a footprint that hangs over the front as much as 2 inches...like a box or large book. I'd add the last star if the pan/scale could hold a larger object and the pan was another inch higher and a more sloped display ...but it will work for most things 22 lbs and under as is a great price, and looks to be of good construction.

This weight scale is very accurate. Become familiar with the weight standards this scale offers. This scale handles a maximum of 22 pounds so don't go beyond that when weighing your food. The digital readouts are very readable and comforting to the eye. You can put your food items on a plate then weigh them without the scale taking into account the weight of your plate thus assuring a more accurate reading of your food items being weighed. As always read the manual first before using the scale.

My kitchen scale is a very good value. Nicely packaged and very easy to register for the warranty. An added bonus was the extra battery included. I haven't used it a lot yet but tested it out on a few things and it seems to be very easy to use and accurate. I will definitely consider purchasing other items this seller has to offer. Thank you!

So far it has gotten the job done with no complaints. It’s smaller than I though it would be, but that’s on me. The screen is bright and easy to read. Very easy to use. So far, good quality for what I paid for it!

This is the perfect food scale for everyday use. I use it to weigh out my protein in the morning to make sure I’m getting my full serving. It’s amazing how much guessing can be off. It’s easy to use & even comes with an extra battery. Just keep in mind that it’s on the smaller side. I’ve weighed stuff out on a plate but it’s a little hard to see the numbers with a regular sized plate on it. You’re gonna want to use bowls or cups with this one.

Not as large of a surface as I hoped, but for the price it's pretty good. The only criticism I really have is that once I placed food on it, it was difficult to change the setting to lbs., which is what I needed. Kept bouncing to grams and was temperamental. Other than that, it will serve its purpose for the time being.

I just LOVE this new scale! It's so easy to use and accurate. My older scale had a black on gray display, so it was hard to read the digits. Also, if I forgot to put my bowl on before I turned it on, I'd have to turn it off (and wait a while for it to go off) before I could put the bowl back on and get the tare weight. Also, I got the stainless steel finish--and it looks great in my kitchen. It's so sleek and thin that I can rest it on top of my BUNN coffeemaker and it fits perfectly between the water reservoir and the air filter. So very handy to reach for whenever I need it.

This is an affordable scale, we actually bought two. I’ve used it for measuring ingredients when I bake. It works fine but I wish the tare button would work more consistently. I get around it by turning the scale off, placing an empty bowl on the scale then turning the scale back on. The scale will turn on with the weight at zero.

I struggled too long with a strangly shaped food weigher and don't know why I didn't get something like this great gadget long ago. It weighs in ounces, ml, grams and up to 9 lb (i'm guessing as it has a lb digit but I only use it to weigh in ounces. It is a nice sleek flat scale that looks great and gives digital readings. I got it in white. It runs on a lithium battery that came with it. If I recall the price was pretty good. I just weighed some chicken breast. Don't know why I waited so long using that archaic thing. You don't know what you miss until you get a good one. Looks wonderful in the kitchen, about six inches white, seven inches in length.

I recently started Bright Line Eating and in this program you weigh and measure your food. This scale does the job but it's like a starter scale. I will probably buy a much nicer one and then use this one for traveling. Sometimes it's difficult to reset the weight to zero but mostly it's fine.
