Nov. 26, 2018 UPDATE -- The seller contacted about my orders, to see if I had received and asking for a review via email. I responded with a link to this review. As you can see if you read below I wasn't satisfied. I'm not going to repeat myself in this update as you can scroll through and read for yourself. I purchased the first set for my new chair and a second set for someone else. My set was like brakes were set to on but the second set glided super smoothly for the one I gave them to. Fortunately, she didn't experience my issue and she couldn't be happier. After contacting seller I was prepared to wait up to three days for a response. I didn't have to as they got back with me same day. Seller offered a refund or replacement. I opted for the replacement because I do like the style of the wheels. When I replied back to seller, I said I'd like a replacement if they thought it would solve my problem. The seller said not to return the original set of wheels, they were sending a new set out and refunding my original purchase price. I was surprised, very surprised. I only expected a refund or a replancement. Defnitely not both. Wheels have arrived and they work fantastic, practiaclly no effort is requied to move the office chair. I have noticed new wheels have more lubercation on the steel balls around the stem. I am very happy with my new wheels and my office chair travels with great ease. You will notice I have given five stars for the product and seller. I very, very, very rarely give five stars. However, seller did go above and beyond anything I was expecting. I don't see any room for improvement where I could subtract a STAR. I don't give five STARS lightly. The product is quality, well maded, and manufacture problems do appear in a small number of output. I did originally buy the product but after customer care it is a FREE item. I may be slightly bisas because of it -- However, I feel most would agree seller and product does deserve fire Stars. Nov. 20, 2018 UPDATE --- I had look forward to installing the Office Chair Wheels Gift Set of 5 - Protect All Your Floors. They look very good, appear sturdy, and very stylish on the Poly & Bark Executive Eames High Back office chair. They roll very well moving the chair around. Unfortunately, when you are in the chair and they are under pressure ALL THAT SMOOTH ROLLING LUXURY ceases. It's difficult to discern whether it's only one or two of the wheels causing the problem. But it takes a good deal of effort to move chair while sitting. Sometimes (which is several times per day) I must get up to move chair. I received office chair November 12, 2018. I will give a little more time to see if wheels require a break-in period. It's only been eight days (Sat & Sun chair isn't used) so only six days. The second set of these wheels were given as a gift already. I'll see if she is having same problem with rolling. We both have finished hardwood floors. IT"S NOT ALL BAD --- The wheels are very easy to install (five minutes tops including the removal of old office chair wheels). They are quiet and very attractive on the chair. I love the grey hue over the crystal clear models. I would have probably went with chrome over black if available keeping base industrial look. Since I did elect black, a black base topping plate from my previous chair was used to finish its looks. The topping base plate also keeps the lift from looking like it has a cheap plastic cover on it caused by reflection of chrome star base. Sorry for getting a bit side tracked. If these Seddox wheels flowed more effortlessly I would be positively satisfied. For some reason it feels like the brakes are on? Hmm. I will follow up with another UPDATE. November 2018 FIRST THOUGHTS --- I ordered Office Chair Wheels Gift Set of 5 - Protect All Your Floors - 3'' Heavy Duty Replacement Rollerblade Rubber Desk Chair Casters - Best Protection for Your Hardwood Floors a few days ago and ordered another set today. Although, the information on this page shows a discount -- my first order and todays order does not display a discount on my order. With both orders I should of saved between $3 to $6. Hmm. I have examined the first wheel set ordered and they look very nice. I will install them when my new office chair arrives for a test spin. They look exactly as pictured which is very nice. I see no where anything regarding the products warranty. I checked on the vendors website and didn't locate that information there either. Given have they are used and will see some action...there should be at least a one year warranty? Anyone with any helpful information please do comment. Thank you. At first, I purchased one set to see how it goes, And I was so pleased, so I bought another chair (second hand) and another set of wheels and the two chairs are great. The are very smooth and fast, very quite. Recommended.

10 minutes after install and im already more than satisfied. I have a micrometer and measured the Hyken Mesh Chair wheel stems. (10.78mm) So I ordered 11 mm and they work perfectly. The Hyken wheels arent very responsive when trying to adjust position and never were even when mine was brand new. And the wheel design will gobble up usb cords and any other small cables it happens to roll over. This was a frustration as Im a tinkerer and have many cords for charging etc and if I lose track of one it ended up tangling in the standard Hyken wheels. This design allows for stability but ease of reposition. And it doesnt seem possible for these smooth wheels to gobble up cords and sadly hair. I work from home and sit in this chair for long hours per day. Having to fight my chair to get into position to type on keyboard or move the mouse has been a frustration. I can already tell as I'm typing this, that will no longer be a problem At the price if they only last 6 months. It will absolutely be worth it over the terrible and poorly designed Hyken wheels. Outside of the wheels , the chair is great and the mesh helps keep the body cool and comfortable. But I needed an upgrade on the wheels. Yes these wheels will cause the chair to sit up approx 2 inches higher. But its not a problem but figured I would mention it. My lasting thoughts are . Massive improvement. 1 less thing to annoy you while working Smooth movement if you need mobility , these are great for that even over carpet like me. Installation is as easy as putting legos together. Just buy them if you need wheels that actually ...wheel.

I have replaced the wheels on my 40 year old executive leatherchair several times. They were all double wheels and the entire contraption made of plastic. In recent years they have hardly lasted a year before the start falling apart - socket holes worn out, wheels seizing up (they collect every piece of thread and even tissue paper they roll over). Saw these on Amazon and decided to give them a try. Early days yet since I just put them on a few days ago but, heavens, they perform so very well. The wheels are ever so smooth and quiet (someone posted that if you're not careful, the slightest force will have you careening across the floor!). Installing them was a snap (pun intended). I don't write product reviews often but felt compelled to write this one. They feel like they will last. I hope so. What am I doing with a 40 year old chair? I bought it when I started my business in 1980 and have had it reupholstered two or three times. It has been with me through good times and tough times and I believe it contributed to the fact that the good times far exceed the tough times. Plain sentiment! And when I retire next year, I will pass it on to my son and tell him if he ever needs to replace the wheels, go for this one.

I love these wheels! They are SUPER smooth and glide so effortlessly! My manager recommended them to me when I was looking for a new office chair, and I’m so glad I went with these instead of the normal chair wheels they come with.

I've been using these for about a month now. They are so much smoother and more quiet than the hard plastic casters my home office chair came with. I can slide my chair around with barely any noise, and I'm a lot less worried about scratching my wood floors. However, when I sit in place for a while, the material flattens ever so slightly making it require a little extra effort to move out of position again. I weigh about 185, so not an extreme amount of weight pressing on them. The wheels return to normal shape in that spot, so it's only a minor issue, but that's why I did four stars instead of five. Also, they don't turn on a dime the way the smaller hard-plastic original casters did without a little extra effort. Again, just a minor issue. Pretty easy to install, and the quality feels nice.

Installing new wheels for my gaming chair has made my chair feel higher quality. The chair used to squeak. I figured it was something to do with the chair itself, not the wheels. After installing these replacement wheels, the squeaking went away. The new wheels roll so smoothly. My bedroom floor is not leveled perfectly, and these wheels are so good that my chair now rolls from one side of the room to the other without any interference. This is a downside to my specific application, however, this further proves the quality and functionality of the wheels. The chair also was raised 3-4 inches, which was perfect considering my desk was slightly too tall for my preferred sitting position while gaming. After installing the wheels, my chair sits at the perfect height, which saves me the money on replacing the hydraulic lift cylinder for one with more height adjustment. All in all, these wheels are in no way a negative replacement, and infact are in every way the perfect upgrade for someone who, has a squeaky chair, has trouble getting effortless mobility out of their current chair wheels, and who needs a couple extra inches of height. Not to mention they look pretty awesome too. Great upgrade and I highly recommend.

These made my chair feel brand new. They look good, roll good and were easy to install.

Much better than the original Ikea wheels.

The only downside to these wheels are that they raise the overall height of the seat cushion, however they glide very smoothly, and are of a far superior build than the cheap plastic castors the chair came with.

The office chair now moves easily across my wood floor no more damage from the old wheels. Everything about these wheels made my work area better. Love them.

I love these wheels for my Ikea chair, they've made my rolling around so smooth. One thing to note is the wheels are a bit higher than the ones that come standard with your chair, so you will sit a bit higher than before. But for the gain in smoothness, I am quite happy

Just fitted these new wheels to my KAB office chair and the difference is chalk and cheese! Very pleased with this product, will wait and see how they perform. Cheers Greg.
