These are way cheaper than the Brita replacement filters and work the same! They come exactly as pictured and fit my Brita pitcher perfectly. It did take me a few minutes to figure out how to change the filters out the first time, but now it's very easy. The water always tastes great with these, can tell they actually work. I would recommend these and am planning on getting them again in the future. Great low cost replacement filters!

Ordered these to compare to the britta filters. Many people say that these are slower than name brand, but I have seen no difference in the filter time. Very pleased with the taste of the water using AQUA CREST filters and will continue to buy these! I have noticed no difference in performance or taste using them. We even did a taste comparison with britta and AQUA CREST, and I am happy with this filter. The price is much lower than the britta brand and I will be purchasing AQUA CREST filters from now on. Very pleased to find a cheaper filter solution that works just as well as the original.

I'm on my second of these filters now and I have to say I'm intrigued.Overall: 4/5Value: 10/10 (in comparison to Brita)Filtration: 9/10 (I'd give it 10/10 if theySetup Process: 7/10First of all, when the filter is new it IS slower than a brand new Brita filter - however unlike Brita filters, the filtration speed remains more or less consistent over a month of use. We filter a lot of water every day and so we replace our filters monthly. If you're worried about filtration speed, I'd say that's not worth worrying about unless you're training for a water-drinking competition and need a speedy filter that can keep up with you when newly replaced.One thing that I always notice with a brand new water filter (Brita or otherwise) is that the water always has a different, almost sweet, pure taste. Typically I won't notice this in a Brita filter after about 4-5 days of use, however with this filter I did notice that the water did keep that sweeter, clean taste for probably two weeks. My uneducated guess is that there is probably some element in tap water that this filter is better at filtering which causes this longer-lasting nice taste. That said, I'd be REALLY interested to see the results from a lab test comparing this filter against Brita after weeks of usage to see how they stack up. Even a sponsored lab test would be better than nothing - but I can't currently find any sort of test data to compared performance of these filters.One thing that I did find a little annoying is the process required to use a new filter. The 5-minute soaking period in addition to running a litre of water through the filter is a small extra step which means a little extra planning ahead is necessary if you're planning to change the filter before needing a lot of water.Overall, while I can't speak to how effectively the filter is removing elements like heavy metals from water - especially over time - the water DOES taste better for longer than a Brita filter. The mild annoyances like the slightly slower filtration speed when the filter is newly replaced and the 5-minute soaking process, coupled with the better pricing make this a good value filter. Hopefully someone can do a lab analysis on the filtration effectiveness.

I found these filters work very well and definitely keeps our water tasting as it should. Will definitely reorder!
