is the blower supposed to be glued to the check valve? Is the check valve glued to the pipe?

Mine is not glued and it works fine. Just goes off when it gets hot (stops blowing)

does this blower use a solid state electronic controller? My old Anzen used carbon brushes in the motor and they harden and break very quickly.
