The gum taste exactly like some normal brand gum but once the flavor is gone there is a very bitter taste. That's the reminder of the caffeine. It's important to keep chewing. 10 min will get you 99% of the caffeine. The gum hits hard and fast. This was a nice addiction trade, giving up energy drinks but still getting my daily caffeine intake. I followed the instructions on the back so I can't say the effects of taking more than the suggested amount.

As a resident physician I have worked myself into the habit of drinking energy drinks on a daily basis to help me focus. But I wanted something that was easier on my stomach and gave me less heartburn, so I decided to give something like this a shot. I'm sure glad I did. Energy drinks like Reign and Bangs definitely give me energy, but they also make me jittery, sometimes flush my face, and can make me feel a little flustered if I really haven't had enough sleep the night prior. This gum does none of that, and only gives me focus. There's no anxiousness or jittery feeling that comes with it. I chew one piece in the morning right after breakfast as I begin my shift, and then another right after lunch and it works great. If I'm working a 14+ hour shift I'll chew a third piece around dinner, but I don't like to have caffeine after 2-3pm as it makes it more difficult for me to sleep that night. My only complaint about the gum is that the flavor does not last long. It is gone within half an hour or so. This really doesn't bother me enough to put up a real gripe about it, but a couple of my brothers and friends who I have recommended this to dislike that aspect enough to push them away from using it. My favorite flavor is the cinnamon, my least favorite is the arctic mint.

I like the product. Worked for me, slight boost in alertness and the taste wasn't bad. BUT (knew that was comin' dincha.) This stuff sticks all over my dental work. I'll probably use these but won't buy again. Shame.

I've purchased this gum several times and always keep some in the car and in my travel bags. It's got enough caffeine to keep me up through 4+ hour drives on low sleep with only 1 or 2 pieces. If you have to pull an all-nighter you can get through with these but the package does warn against having too many in a short period of time so going through more than a pack trying to stay up is probably not advised. The pieces are a bit larger than most chewing gum so it might not be good for those who need the caffeine while at work in jobs that don't approve of visible gum chewing. While much of taste is down to personal preference all of them will have a sort of chemical aftertaste, probably the caffeine itself, that some of my friends have found unpleasant. Having had all the flavors I don't think any of them are unpalatable but I found the green ones to have the nicest flavor for me personally. Overall I find it an easy recommendation and have gotten several friends to swear by it as well.

I don't know if caffeine just doesn't affect me the same as other people, but the most noticeable thing I feel using a single piece is a tingling in my tongue. No higher energy level is felt. The gum itself tastes decent enough; it doesn't get hard after chewing it like many do, so it's chewable for at least 30 minutes or more before I just throw it away. Personally, I'd rather have a much better tasting gum (not that this is bad) and not worry about trying to get an energy boost off this gum.

I loved this, the flavors were actually very nice. I could tell the caffeine was there but it wasn't a crackhead spike like energy drinks, pretty smooth application of the energy. It's nice to just reach into you're pocket and grab one when you're tired during the day, also the way they let you open it and keep it closed is cool in terms of functionality. It's just a paper package but there's stiffness at the end where you open so it will stay closed.

Just not a fan of this "energy gum" taste. Almost has a chemical type of a taste to it that makes it very challenging to overcome by simply telling yourself this is just a "normal" gum. I will be discarding this product. Not for me
