Measures approximately 24” long x 15” wide; height varies along curve from 4.5” to 3.5” to 4”.I’ve been using this pillow for about a week. I thought I didn’t like memory foam because it’s too hot, but this was advertised as “cool touch.” I needed another pillow so here we are.It’s the removable, washable cover that gives the pillow its “cool touch” properties. The cover’s fabric is a polyester, polyethylene, and nylon blend. Polyester and nylon wick away moisture and dry quickly, while polyethylene allows heat to escape. The cover is textured with tiny holes, which I suspect increase surface area and helps even more heat to escape. I have the pillow in a thin cotton twin-size (standard) pillowcase to match my sheets.The “core” of the pillow is a block of spot-clean-only memory foam sewn into a light cover.The pillow is squishy soft, but molds well around my body when compressed. As a smallish person of about 135 pounds, sometimes I’ll lie on my stomach in bed and prop myself up on my elbows to read. Putting the pillow under my torso provides decent support.Of course, I have also been sleeping on my back and sides on the pillow. It took a couple of nights to get used to this new pillow, but now I like it. While the rest of my body gets hot during the summer (especially close to waking), my head stays lukewarm. The pillow never gets truly cool, but it doesn’t get hot either.Final thoughts: be aware that the pillow arrived with a chemical smell that has since mostly dissipated. Personal preference will also play into how much you like this pillow. With the memory foam core and washable cover, current pricing on this Brookstone pillow is competitive at around $42. This is my first experience with a memory foam pillow. I've been using it for three weeks now. My experience with regular foam pillows is that by morning all of the foam has shifted to both sides of my ears and my head is mostly resting right on the mattress. This memory foam pillow, however, retains its support all night. That's a plus compared to a regular pillow.As for its cooling features, I have not experienced that at all. Instead, the temperature seems to remain steady. A regular pillow gets hotter and hotter as the night wears on; to find a cooler spot, you have to flip the pillow. This memory foam pillow seems to stay at a steady temperature. It feels neither hot nor cool when I rest my head on it, and it retains that neutral temperature throughout the night.In addition to head support and temperature, there is a third pillow test that always interests me: yellowing from natural body oils. To avoid yellowing on my regular pillows, I always have to use a pillow protector and a pillow case. Inevitably, body oils find their way through the pillow case and onto the pillow protector.This pillow came with a nice, discreet zippered pillow protector. By "discrete" I mean that I had to hunt for the zipper (it's an invisible zipper with a very tiny zipper tab. I am using a pillowcase over it. Only time will tell how this memory foam pillow passes the yellowing test.

I made the mistake of underestimating these due to the way it looked, but I was soon proven wrong. When it came in and even after airing it out for a couple days, it looked rather low for me and I was hesitant to try it. I was afraid of sleeping on it and having a bad neck or shoulder again as I have had so many times in the past, but I still gave it a chance and I am very glad I did! So far, in my entire lifetime, this has been the most consistent pillow I have owned. I wake up with absolutely no pain in my shoulders or neck. Other pillows I have had, some would be bad right from the start, then there are also others that were great in the start but also started to give me pain. This one has eradicated all the painful areas night in and night out. I really didn't think it would work for me as it was low and I am mostly a side sleeper.
