I’m a serious swimmer and so consequently, I’ve bought many swimming hats over the years. However, hands down, this one is definitely the best one I’ve bought to date. To protect my hair from the chlorine, I soak my hair in fresh, clean water, then put my hat on. The hat is easy to put on, my hair tucks in nicely, and it is very comfortable to wear. It doesn’t slip whatsoever during my swim, which means my goggles tend to stay put as well. The hat covers my ears too; most don’t. I love the fact that the hat comes in so many colours and patterns, but that wouldn’t usually be a priority for me. Just a bonus.

I've been buying this particular brand of swimming caps for the last couple of years, as I've found them much more durable and less likely to split than other brands I've used in the past. I really like the bright, multi-colour design of this particular swim cap, but what initially led me to buying it was that it is advertised as being specifically for long hair. As my hair is now long I thought I'd try this particular style of swim cap; the material feels slightly thinner than my previous Maru swim caps, which I think is because it allows you to stretch the swim cap out to accommodate the bulk of long hair comfortably and effectively. For me, however, the disadvantage I find with this increased elasticity is that I have trouble getting it on my head without it slipping back off again, so it does take me a bit longer to put on and enclose all my hair before I go in the pool. It is, however, comfortable to wear in the water although I do find it wants to move up when I'm swimming and therefore exposes my ears, although so far its never come completely off while swimming. I just occasionally take a pause between laps and pull it back down over my ears again. I think it will last well but only time will tell if it will be as durable as my previous Maru swim caps which were made of slightly thicker, albeit slightly less stretchy material and managed by some miracle to survive several washes in my washing machine when they got hidden among my swim towels. I think although my hair is long, it is also fine enough for me to wear my usual style of Maru swim cap, which although has a bit less stretch, will still accommodate my long hair and I will have less trouble in putting it on for swimming. So,I think I will not buy this one again but I'm sure those of you with thicker long hair will like it well enough - so, worth buying I think if you really feel your long hair needs it. Finally, as with all swim caps, always remember to rinse them in cold water and thoroughly dry after use, then put a sprinkling of talcum power on the inside of the swim cap before storage. Easy to put on , lovely colour . Fast delivery and price . I’ve used this cap in the swimming pool at my gym and my hair is bone dry . It also keeps your head warm. I even ordered another colour . These swimming caps are very cool and comfortable to wear. I brought a blue one which is also fits perfectly, only one problem is the reusable bag ,which is unusable as Amazons stuck their delivery label on it and it’s very sticky now . When removing the label. My first one arrived in a package , this one didn’t . The swimming caps are excellent. A*****
