Got this as an activity for the art camp I was running over the summer with elementary school aged children and they loved it!We did this craft and included some materials from a similar craft kit we already had so that the kids who needed more structure could have an animal or vehicle, etc to paint while the others did freestyle. This kit did come with a few designed wood pieces, but they were small so they were perfect to give to those who finished their piece early.Like all glow in the dark stuff, ya gotta be sure to put in in the sun or under some sort of light into order to "charge it up", otherwise you won't see any glow. Done correctly, it's definitely a hit with the kids. I also found it useful to tell them beforehand that the glow in the dark paint needed to be used as a "2nd step". The glow in the dark paints are really transparent and so it'll come out better if you paint the intended color first with regular paint, let it dry, and then do a layer of the most similar colored glow in the dark paint on top!We didn't use the brushed provided due to there being too many kids so cannot comment on those. Keep in mind, at least for us, the googly eyes need glue!

My five year old had the best time with this wood crafting art set. Comes with lots of fun colors and added accessories. Love that it glows in the dark. Easy to use. Love the colored glue pens. The pens don't leave a big mess behind. My son loved it so much he wants me to buy more and have friends come over to make them as well. I would definitely recommend.

This is a complete art kit suitable for the younger ages. I believe the age range should stop at 10. By 11 or 12, kids are into electronics, video games, etc. Nice that the kit comes complete with paint, glitter glue, wood pieces, brushes, etc. Very affordable with all that is included with this set. I purchased for my grandhildren. Sat down with the kiddos and they loved decorating the wood pieces (included). I told them with glow in the dark paint we had to place them on their friends property in a sunny place. We did just that. Within 5 days all of their friends discovered them and called to thank us for the kind gesture and gift! Deducted 1 star thinking an 11 or 12 year old would be bored with this project. My 8 and 10 year old grandchildren loved them. My 12 year old said it was for babies - perhaps it was just his sorry attitude he approached the art kit with! 4 stars

My nephew(6 year old) loves crafts, and this set provided him with a fantastic opportunity to explore his artistic side. Gave this to a small group of young nieces ranging in age from 3 to 10 (along with another crafts kit), all of them loved it, kept them occupied for almost two hours. A little messy, but everything cleaned up with water.
