Review: Glad to have a traditional toaster again - for many years, I'd been using a toaster oven. But like many, I really wasn't using it often as the oven settings were by dial and not very accurate. And toasting was always a chore. NOT ANY MORE! I decided it was time to get some counter space back and buy a traditional 2-slice toaster. It's so much better for bagels and even the occassional waffles. For the bigger NY-style bagels, be sure to cut down the middle so that it fits better into the slots! It toasts quickly and evenly but doesn't feel hot on the outside of the toaster. I went with basic White and that color is simple and doesn't stand out. Once you get your settings figured out (not hard), toasting is basic to being easy. the Cuisinart is a quality item that feels solid and doesn't eat up too much space on the counter. I've used this toaster more in the last month or so than the toaster over in years! Review: Good quality - Very sleek! Love the different settings. Toast came out perfect. Would buy again. Especially like the lift up for smaller pieces of bread or bagels ## Features - FUNCTIONAL: This compact toaster is able to fit comfortably on your countertops while toasting bagels, toast and a preheat, defrost and cancel option - CAPACITY: Has 2 1.5-inch wide toasting slots for a wide variety of sizes - MUST-HAVE FEATURES: The 7-setting shade dial gives you control over the toasting shade and the slide-out crumb tray makes clean up easy - PERFORMANCE: Whether you want a thick toasted bagel to snack on, toaster pastries, or thin sliced bread for a healthy twist on croutons, the wide slots and high-lift carriage make it easy to toast every time - LIMITED 3-YEAR WARRANTY: Refer to user manual for troubleshooting steps and questions surrounding warranty policies – this product is BPA free ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00K0ZT1BO | | Best Sellers Rank | #2,549 in Kitchen & Dining ( See Top 100 in Kitchen & Dining ) #15 in Toasters | | Brand | Cuisinart | | Brand Name | Cuisinart | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 25,566 Reviews | | Display Type | LED | | Finish Type | Matte | | Global Trade Identification Number | 10086279049466 | | Included Components | toaster | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 6.5"D x 11"W x 7.2"H | | Item Highlight | 2 slice toaster for bagels & bread with defrost/reheat/cancel functions, removable crumb tray & compact design, CPT-122BK | | Item Type Name | Cuisinart CPT-122BK 2-Slice Compact Plastic Toaster | | Item Weight | 3.5 pounds | | Manufacturer | Cuisinart | | Material | Plastic | | Model Number | CPT-122BK | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Programs | 7 | | Number of settings | 7 | | Part Number | CPT-122BK | | Product Dimensions | 6.5"D x 11"W x 7.2"H | | Slot Count | 2 | | Special Features | Manual | | Specific Uses For Product | Bagel, Bread | | Style | Toaster | | UPC | 086279049469 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Voltage | 110 volts | | Warranty Description | Limited 3-Year Warranty | | Wattage | 800 watts | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Cuisinart - **Color:** Black - **Material:** Plastic - **Product Dimensions:** 6.5"D x 11"W x 7.2"H - **Specific Uses For Product:** Bagel, Bread ## Images ![Cuisinart Compact Toaster, 7 Shade Settings, 2-Slice Capacity, Black - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61fQqxYdbUL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: On the Bagel setting, does it toast only on one side? Some toasters advertise this feature.** A: No, it doesn't toast on one side only when using the bagel setting. Both sides are toasted but in "bagel" setting, one side toasts lighter. But I found this to be the case whether or not "bagel" setting is used. One side toasts lighter even without using the bagel setting. Had I known that this toaster doesn't have a true bagel setting (i.e., toasts on one side only), I probably would not have purchased this toaster. But I kept it and it's really a nice toaster. To keep one side of my bagel fairly "toast-free", I just turn the darkness dial down to 1 or 2 level and it works fine. **Q: how long is the slot? how deep?** A: It is 6 inches long .. 6 inches deep and 1 1/2 inches wide. Sandwich slices have no problem fitting in. My only concern is it does not toast evenly. **Q: When toasting larger quanitys of bread (like for a family breakfast) are the results consistent first slice to last. Thanks for your help........Paul** A: I have only toasted 2 consecutive full toasters of bread not 4 or 5, but for 2 the results are comparable. In other words, the second batch is consistent with the first in toasting level. **Q: Does the inside cage that holds the bread moves sideways to open up and close as the bread is inserted? (Not sure how to describe this but some do.)** A: Bread is top loaded. When the lever is pushed down the inside "cage" closes around the items. This allows for thicker items or thinner items. I love this toaster. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Glad to have a traditional toaster again *by S***I on September 21, 2026* for many years, I'd been using a toaster oven. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. I thought it was a dull black but it is a very shiny black just fyi. It toasts like other toasters I’ve had before. 🤷‍♀️ ## Frequently Bought Together - Cuisinart CPT-122BK 2-Slice Compact Plastic Toaster, Black - Cuisinart CCO-50BKN Deluxe Electric Can Opener, Black - Pyrex Essentials (3-Pack) Glass Measuring Cups Set, (1, 2 & 4 Cup) Measuring Cups For Prepping, Baking and Cooking, Preheated Oven, Dishwasher, Freezer, and Microwave Safe --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.vn/products/64135064-cuisinart-compact-toaster-7-shade-settings-2-slice-capacity-black](https://www.desertcart.vn/products/64135064-cuisinart-compact-toaster-7-shade-settings-2-slice-capacity-black) --- *Product available on Desertcart Vietnam* *Store origin: VN* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
