I’m not sure why some reviews are somehow perplexed by the washing instructions. They’re basically, “turn it inside out to wash, because it’s cotton, it’ll wrinkle, so shake it out before throwing it in the dryer, don’t leave it in the sun because it might fade.” I washed it inside out in cold water with like colors, shook it out and dried it on a delicate setting. It’s on my bed instead of my lawn. It was all pretty simple and typical and I had no problems with fading, discoloration, wrinkles, shrinking, anything else. I have a fox theme room and had been looking for a fox duvet cover that would A.) fit my duvet insert B.) not be wretchedly ugly or too cutesy/cheesy C.) be a darker color since I have a black cat who makes herself comfortable on my bed. It’s actually harder to find than it may sound. I love the other fox duvet cover that I bought from Etsy, but unsurprisingly, it was more than twice as expensive (and I actually like this one better, anyway). The cover is mildly weird/quirky, but not over the top, and I like that. No complaints. I just hope the zipper doesn’t give me problems in the future, but so far, so good.If you’ve done your own laundry before, you’ll survive these instructions.
