NEO safety razor - a beginner-friendly wet shaving razor - metal with rubber grip - glacier blue

Excellent razor, nicely balanced. I've been using an Edwin Jagger prior to this and the difference in shave is amazing - it's a closer shave, and bizarrely I've yet to have a single nick as well. Really impressed with this razor.

Excellent quality and great value for money. It gives a close, comfortable shave every time, and the fact that each blade lasts for several weeks is a real bonus. The razor is sharp yet gentle on the skin, helping to prevent redness. Definitely worth it!

I have used DE razors for many years due to having incredibly sensitive skin and the traditional razors made of plastic are not only bad for my skin but also not very environmentally friendly. German manufacturers Mühle provided an outstanding quality razor and have given me flawless shaves with no irritation of my skin whatsoever. The investment of a DE razor is great value for money as buying blades in packs work out cheaper than Gillette fusion heads which I found were bad quality and not environmentally friendly. The razor also fits nicely in your bathroom cabinet and is very easy to use.

Used a different Safety Razor and was constantly nicking myself. This razor is so much easier to use as a beginner. It's easy to find the right angle used it a few times now with no nicks or weepers like I had previously. I've found Wilkinson sword blades and Astra SP work well for me in this razor. Apparently it's the same head as the R89 but a different handle. Very happy with it.

Easy to grip, well made, good shave.

This razor has a lovely look and feel. However, it does not give as close a shave as other products do. The benefit of this one is it seems like it will last because the screw thread is a little bulkier than some designs. It's also super non slip with the ribber grip, which is really nice. I just wish it gave as close a shave as other options. I will unfortunately be buying another razor from elsewhere due to this.

Extremely well packaged, one razor blade enclosed, nice though I have plenty. The finish superior to other razors that I've seen or used. To summarise, quite the nicest safety razors I've used.

A little slip of paper urges the user to read the instruction leaflet, which is tucked away at the bottom of the box and offers 20 small pages mostly devoted to ‘warnings’, ‘cautions’, ‘dangers’ and ‘hazards’. ‘Improper use can cause serious injury’, 'Do not be discouraged by small cuts or grazes’, little children could die if they played with the item! Ok, we get it. Messing around with very sharp razors is not a great idea. I started using disposables years ago, so it was fun (even without the thrill of the possible dangers) to return to using a traditional razor and there’s no denying - it shaves more smoothly, more quickly and more comfortably. There was no drag, it has a comfortable grip and is reassuringly heavy. It also looks good. The booklet suggests changing the blade every five days, which is more frequently than I recalled, but shall see how it goes. For the moment, it looks as if I shall be disposing of my disposables.

Im not very experienced in wetshaving , but its a great razor very smooth and would be very hard for you to cut yourself with it so if you're a beginner go for it.

Sehr guter Hobel. Liegt gut in der Hand, Gewicht und Größe stimmen genau. Allerdings bezahlt man hier auch den Namen mit! Ich habe hier auch einen Bambus Rasierhobel liegen und dieser hat exakt den gleichen Kopf verbaut und war deutlich preiswerter. Diesmal wollte ich jedoch gerne mal einen berühmten Mühle Rasierer haben. Wurde nicht enttäuscht

Wie gewohnt ein Top Mühle. Produkt hält ein Leben lang.

Tolle Verarbeitung, liegt gut in der Hand und fühlt sich sehr wertig an. Die regelmäßige Rasur damit funktioniert super und ich bereue es, nicht schon früher zu einem Rasierhobel gewechselt zu haben - die Sorge des Einschneidens war bei mir unbegründet. Ich schneide mich nicht öfters als mit Systemrasierern. Die Verpackung ist auch super edel, weshalb sich der Rasierhobel perfekt als Geschenk eignet. Lediglich das Zubehör könnte mehr sein (z.B. Schutzkappe inkludiert und 5 Rasierklingen statt einem Stück).

10 years ago I started off with the $20 Feather butterfly safety razor. It's a great razor to start off with because it's not aggressive. Then a few years ago I switched to a different butterfly razor which was more aggressive, I had good luck with it but the mechanics weren't as smooth as it was when new. In fact the older Feather razor still works as when it was new. I really love the new razor, great shave with the enclosed blade. The razor is very well balanced and easy to grip. For me the handle length is perfect. I currently use Proraso soap with an Omega synthetic brush. I'll still continue to use the Feather Platinum blades, I have 5 unopened packages. Highly recommended Mike Update: Finally changed out the enclosed blade after 3 weeks. It gave an excellent shave. Switched over to my Feather Platinum blades. Still a great shave.
