Loops saved me!
I purchased these for my 11 year old ASD son, who, like me deals with sensory challenges. Loops have helped me be able to enjoy days out without suffering overwhelm/overload.You can still hear all noise, they don't work like earplugs ~ what they actually do, is dull a lot of the unessasary sounds out > Like a filter, meaning that your brain isn't having to work as hard processing it all at the same energy levels. This is great news for ND people, it gives us a bit more time in an environment which would otherwise be too stimulating. My son has only worn them once, but he liked them when he did. I'm not sure how long they will last him before he loses them ~ it would be great to see some deals which included chain clips as well!!!

Good back up
Great earphones thatare a good back up for loops. After losing my Loops branded ones I was dubious to pay for a proper set again. These work just as well but they are a little less comfortable if wearing for long periods of time. The noise level, design and overall performance are very similar. Good value for money when compared to the leading brand.

Not for me.
I’ve been a wearer of ear plugs for many years, albeit the cheap foam ones. I put them in backwards-large end first. I find that way they expand more in the ear canal and block out more sound.I’ve never worn noise cancelling ear plugs before so I’d no idea what to expect. I thought I thought I’d give them a good testing. I’m sat in my back room with the TV on, my granddaughter and her friend have iPads trying to outdo the TV. My dog is adding his two penn’orth. A noise that needs cancelling. So enter the noise cancelling earplugs. I couldn’t tell the difference. I tried different angles, different depths, I tried everything and still the noise stayed at the same level with or without noise cancelling earplugs. My backwards worn foam earplugs worked far better.

Didn’t block out noise
Bought for my son who said they were useless. We were looking for an alternative to ear defenders and these didn’t block out enough noise (tried in our kitchen so definitely wouldn’t have worked somewhere noisy).

Great for Pulsatile tinnitus!
I bought these to help with pulsatile tinnitus in my right ear after the ENT doc recommended earplugs. They really help with it and after a couple of minutes I forget I've even got it in!I had hoped they might work like the Loop Engage are meant to work, reducing background noise and filtering conversation as I work in a busy bar/resturant and some nights I find the noise overwhelming and struggle to hear/comprehend customers orders but sadly I think these ones are just noise reducing as I couldn't hear conversation properly while wearing them I also ended up speaking far too loudly to compensate for not hearing myself properly 😅
