Exactly what I needed
The piece arrived quickly in a box with very good padding. It took me a couple of minutes to swap the stem. This one looks very good, feels sturdy, seems to be well machined and it chopped 2 cm of my previous stem, making for a more comfortable ride. And the price is hard to beat.

NOT CARBON AT ALL.
Not even aluminum. Not even close. Heavy as can be. There's a "graphic" of carbon on the stem, but it's painted on. Not sure if you can see by the pics, but it says "CORBON ALLOV" instead of "CARBON ALLOY" on it so they don't get sued I suppose, but the ad on Amazon clearly says "Carbon Fiber". Total BS. Starting my return now. Not sure how this got the Amazon Prime seal of approval, but it's completely unwarranted. DO NOT BUY.

Quality Affordable stem
Glad I found this stem. Looks good on my vintage bike. It’s pretty light, all bolts and stem body threads are good and they are nicely finished as well. Highly recommended if you are looking for a replacement stem that fits your budget.

Clean setup
Good price for the product. Should have gone with a 4 bolt handle bar setup because the handle bars slip a little while riding hard and sudden braking. Good style though, tons of compliments on how clean it looks.

Good stem. Not entirely carbon, but I bought more for the price and size. Seems very durable.

Heavy, Very Little Carbon
Noticed the weight before opening the box. There's a lot of solid aluminum opposite the handlebar end. Ordered a 50mm, which has less a 1/4" of a carbon band. I reached inside the stem and felt the wall thickness from the handlebar end where the stem is bored out. Seems thin, which would be OK, but then there is where the carbon ring is bonded. Considering the cheapness of this stem, I doubt the strength of the stem where the carbon is inserted. Really no reason for the carbon to be there, only to give me doubts about it holding up. Not worth the risk, so I returned it.
