I purchased these to wear for work. I'm on my feet all day and average between 10K to 18K steps. I needed something that looked a little dressier than the 2 pair of Dansko clogs that I already owned. These were the perfect thing to wear with my jeans and even with my dresses. Since I work in a Tasting Room and Restaurant I needed to be sure that they were slip resistant, as going through the kitchen the floors can sometime be wet.I find that the shoes fit true to size, the quality of the leather and the durability of being able to just wipe them off if they get dirty is great. If you're looking for a great pair of shoes that you can look stylish in and still be comfortable at the end of the day, then this will be money well spent.

Several years ago I went to Japan on a work trip during the hot summer. I am a pastry chef, familiar with Dansko clogs (industry standard), so I bought a pair of Dansko slide-on sandals to wear while sightseeing, etc. They were perfect. I loved them so much, back home I wore them everywhere during warm weather and bought a second and then a third pair as each previous pair started to look shabby after extended use/abuse. I'm hard on shoes as a rule.Then two years ago my husband and I went to Europe for a (very belated) honeymoon. I made the critical, obviously idiotic mistake of buying (non-Dansko) shoes to bring and didn't wear them at all before the trip, then wore them with a pair of thin pop socks on our first day--a day trip to Versailles. The resulting blister was so bad that I couldn't wear a shoe with a back on it for the rest of the 3-week trip. Thank goodness I had brought my trusty Dansko sandals. But it was October/November, and I was wearing sandals--in Europe. I found that everyone stared at my bare, white toes. So the solution was to wear black socks under my black sandals. Fewer stares, but still pretty bad. Nevertheless, my feet were perfectly happy walking miles and miles every day in my faithful, comfy, sturdy Dansko slides.I'm heading to Europe again and I have been agonizing over what shoes to bring. It'll be December, so I need something closed(!), and also want something at least a bit nice-looking, and I have ordered I think five pairs of shoes/boots to try out (and mostly return) for this trip. These gorgeous clogs (I guess they're clogs?) arrived today and I put them on and immediately knew--these are The Ones. Prince Charming couldn't possibly have brought me a better fit. The arch support is wonderful. These feel like a dream. I'm in love. (If there's one thing I don't love, it's the fact that the insole, which is beige, shows at the sides of the shoe (both sides) and contrasts sharply with the black of the rest of the shoe and with any dark sock I might wear.)I will update this review once I've worn them more, but for now, wow.

Very comfortable and fits perfectly. The color is a beautiful neutral camel shade and easy to wear with jeans and khakis.

These are shoes for under 5k steps for me. Beautiful, buttery material, excellent construction, but the angle of the shoe makes it so that my foot slides forward. Ordering a larger size would just increase the back gap at the heel. My foot is slightly wider than average, and I’ve had bunionectomies.I added several different pads to make this elegant shoe work:- one at the top to prevent the forward foot slide- a pad at the ball of the foot- a metatarsal teardrop supportThen I wore them on my work commute. Hours later, my feet are beat, and I’m at 8200 steps. My pinkie toes are rubbed raw. So I will only wear these cuties when I’m not commuting and know I’ll be seated some of the time, and wear Dansko booties for real walking.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:2 back surgeries, 6 rods and numerous pins later then all my high heels had to go out the door. These are a great alternative. I wore dansko while working in the ER, and tried these for my new job which included standing for hours in a conference floor. These were great! I could go all day without any pain. Bonus, they look fantastic with jeans or dress pants. I did size up because my socks are a little thicker. If you’ve never worn Dansko: try them on and as long as your arch fits over the shoe arch you’ll be good. For me, that’s a larger size.

Pretty but bad design and very uncomfortable!! The side of the shoe is made with a very hard material that narrows the footbed and makes the shoe very stiff and uncomfortable. I’ve worn Dansko’s for 20 plus years and am very disappointed!

I receive numerous compliments on these shoes. First, the color is amazing. The best part about this shoe is the comfort. These shoes offer both style and comfort, which is rare to find. They look great with Jeans!
