Fantastic it's amazing at zapping bugs..!
I bought this for the moths and those horrible may bugs (they are like flying beetles and sound like an old war plane) I live out in the country and when the farmer's are working hard doing their thing we get a lot of flying bugs, they scare me so horrendously as I got one caught in my hair as a kid..lol..!I cannot believe how good this is we've currently had very hot sunny weather and this has been zapping them all. It's freaked the cat out with the noise it makes when a bug gets zapped. For me it's going to make life much better on a summers night.

Looks good on my kitchen worktop
Does what it should. Looks a bit more interesting than the usual old mosquito zappers. I keep it near the cat bowls to keep flys away from her meat in summer and it seems to do a good job.

An Attractive Battery Powered UV Fly Catcher that Can Also be Used as a General Purpose Lantern
This fly zapper has the advantage over others that it is powered by a rechargeable battery. This makes it perfect for camping, or use on a patio.Supplied in attractive box with lots of useful information printed on it, the zapper arrives with a cleaning brush and USB-A to USB-C cable. There is no power supply, but USB-A power sockets seem to be everywhere these days and if you are out in the wild a power-bank would suffice. The cleaning brush is difficult to use as it only fits through one slot at a time. I found a good blow shifted most of the bodies, but I didn’t follow the suggestion in the instructions to; “… quickly flush under the tap (wait) until totally dry and use again.”In addition to exterminating flies attracted by UV the zapper can be used as a white light and it offers two brightness settings in this mode. I can confirm that the 1400V killing voltage is still on the grid even in lighting mode, so if flies are attracted by white light it will get them.I tested the lamp in several locations to determine how it performed as a fly catcher. These included a night hanging from our washing line in the garden, where it only caught a half a dozen midges and a few hours in our compost bin which is teeming with small irritating flies, where it caught a few more. The flies on the grid were definitely dead, but whether they were attracted by the UV, or were just unfortunate enough to randomly bump into it I can’t be certain.Unlike many others this zapper looks quite attractive. It makes a nice camping light in white mode and can be hung using the attached strap that has a magnetic fastening, or stood on a table with its three feet keeping it upright.

Very good big zapping capabilities and flexible power source
The media could not be loaded. Really pleased with this bug zapper . All the parts were present and arrived intact thanks to the good packaging . Instructions come in a handy little booklet type and are nice and easy to read and follow .I set mine up for when we are sat on the patio under the gazebo . Both me and my other half get very bad reactions to insect bites so we need to keep those pests away from us when we are relaxing on the evening or day in the garden . The bug zapper works brilliantly at its job of zapping any flying bugs that got near the light , so so far we have been bite free .The bonus for me personally is the zapper was powered for free too by the solar panel .Easy to set up charged up well and had it running for 5 hours and was still going when we ran out of charge lol .I like that it can also be charged via a USB so even if you’ve not had enough sun to charge the unit you have a way of charging it for use.I’ve got a couple of these type electric bug zappers and usually the noise when a bug hits the bars is very loud and makes me jump , however this one I found not to be so loud so very pleased about that too.All in all I can’t fault this product .

Zapper works good, portable
I tested the fly zapper indoors and outdoors and it works great, soon as I turned it on the fly was drawn to it within 2 minutes. The zapper is designed really good for camping as you can hang it up or put it on the included stand which is ideal. I would order this again as it's a good product

Can't get the auto mode to work
If this is user error I will come back and amend this review but at the moment I can't get this to work on auto, relying on solar to charge and then turning itself on at night. So far I'm charging it via a phone USB C charger and then pressing either the on off or the auto button which seem to do the same thing.I'm going to try leaving it outside in the direct sunlight when I've drained the battery fully and just test that the solar charging is working. As a charged up device it is working, zapping bugs as hoped so happy with that.
