Don’t buy
I bought my litters of puppies these collars instead of the cheaper Velcro cloth ones this time. I figured they’d be way more durable and stay cleaner since they aren’t cloth. I don’t really have any good things to say except that the colors are pretty. There are no holes to adjust or even initially place the metal hook part. I currently have two litters of puppies, and I placed a collar on all 15 puppies. By morning, only one puppy had a collar on still, because they can pull them off so easily. I tightened them and tried again, same thing. I was pretty disappointed to have paid over double than what I paid for the cloth-type ones and to not have them work at all. I would not recommend these- all I got was a huge pain in the butt trying to re-identify each puppy a second, third, and fourth time while switching to these, and again when I had to put the old crappy ones back on. Bummer

Work great, adjustable, easy to clean
I use these for my miniature dachshund pups. I ended up buying two packs made one set newborn to 2 week size and one set 2-6 week size. About 6 weeks old the sharp teeth start ruining them so I switch to the nylon cat collars because they are safety release. One tip I found on another review that helped me immensely is get some of those tiny hair bands (or braces bands) that come in clear or rainbow. Put the collar on, slide the extra thru both included holder straps (which do not hold it in place) then thru a hair band.Loop the hair band slack under the collar and loop over the end of the collar again. This holds the end in place where the included sliding holders do not.

Puppy ID Collars
I like thes collars all the way around with the except toon for new borns thy were a bit to long making it difficult to use on new borns. I would wrap and it would come unwrapped.Like the fact they were flexible and could be wiped or washed easilyPunching holes and then finding the hole could be difficult for those of us with not so good eye sightSo when my pups are in the 5-6 week old range I will try using again

Worked great!
Snapped one trying to get the metal tip to go through but they survived puppy pooling. If the puppies pull on them just right it will unhinge (best description I can think of) and come off . We did use small zip ties at the end of the overlap just to keep them from being able to pull them off. As they grow we just cut off the zip tie expand their collar and put a new one on. The color coding was awesome easy to distinguish each pop the log that came with it was really nice as well . Very pleased with this purchase and would buy again or recommend to others.

Great Collars!
We purchased these for our litter of beagles. We were using ribbon hair ties but they would get dirty pretty quickly, especially once they were fully mobile. We have silicone rubber collars for our adult dogs and LOVE how easy it is to keep them clean. These are exactly the same - so easy to keep clean!! I did add a rubber band hair tie to the ends to hold the long flap a little more secure but this is a relatively standard issue with collars, except with pups, you need to leave the end because they are still growing. They aren't perfect but they worked out really well for us!!

useless
You have to make your own holes. The ends do not stay attached and are continuously flipping all over. Great idea but not functional

Way too big and not practical at all
Just 1 🌟 for this item. Not only are they HUGE (not for puppues) but they fall apart in your hand. I've had to literally look for pieces inside the whelping box a few times. It's extremely hard to puncture the holes for sizing because you can't find the hole after the fact. The velcro collars are much better and last longer.

Choking/Bowel hazard!!
Loved the idea of this product to help us (new to process of whelping) manage the pups. Came with great tool to make the holes where we wanted/needed them for each puppy. However, we had to stop using the collars because somehow the little tab, to hold the extra end of the collar, would come off. Or if puppy slipped out of collar. Found the tab (or pieces of the tab) often in puppies mouths or thankfully passed in their stool!!! Definitely a choking/bowel hazard for dogs.Booklet was nice for record keeping!

It comes off too easily
So pups can remove it too easily which sucks as I love how it was easy to clean them but once off they chewed it and luckily none swallowed any chunks but had to get something else which I'm sad that I had too as I really loved how easy it was to clean them.
