Zigbee Smart Garage Door Tilt Sensor, Adjustable Sensitivity, 2-Year Battery Life, Compatible with Echo, SmartThings, Home Assistant, Requires Zigbee Hub

I put in the batteries, it connected first time to home assistant via zigbee dongle. Worked first time and perfectly since. Perfect integration with home assistant and the sonoff switch on the light switch.

Works great out of the box with Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT. Comes with four sensitivity settings, set via a dip-switch under the battery cover. The built in buzzer can also be disabled with a switch. Needs a co-ordinator or router node nearby for best connectivity.

Simple to set up, will have to make a bracket for it as I'm using it on a gazebo opening roof but during testing seems to be ok. Reaction time under 2 seconds so I'm happy with that.

Junk, unfortunately. It connects fine but the sensor always returns a single state (in my case "open"). Reset, moved in every position, nothing.

Paired quickly and easily with Home Assistant ZHA. Only been installed a couple of days but it has worked every time without delay. Reassuring audible beep is heard when it moves to vertical or horizontal.

I'm using a ezsp and Pi, pairs easily and works well. The range is quite poor. Our garage is not attached to the house, so I got this and a sonoff temperature sensor to put out there. The temperature sensor works great, but this little box struggles with two brick walls over 5 meters to my Pi setup. Apart from that, it works well. Has three sensitivity levels and a beeper you can turn on or off. Quite compact and easy to mount as it comes with an adhesive pad. Only had it for a few weeks now so too soon to confirm battery life.

Installation of this garage door tilt sensor was simple and took just a few minutes to complete. It paired seamlessly with my Zigbee hub and provides real-time notifications if the door is opened or closed. I appreciate the adjustable sensitivity levels, which allow me to customize the sensor to avoid false alarms while ensuring reliable detection. The two-year battery seems to last a long time, and I appreciate not having to replace it frequently. Overall, this sensor has added peace of mind and convenience to my smart home setup, and I have been impressed by its performance.

Works perfectly in the Zigbee protocol. Used here as entrance-check to turn on lights and heating, based on arrival at night.

The tilt detection is fast and reliable, making it perfect for garage door monitoring. Sensitivity is configurable via internal switches, and the AAA batteries are easy to swap. I’ll be watching how they hold up through winter, but so far, the signal is strong and the setup rock-solid. Just like the rest of the lineup, it does exactly what it should.
