Please get buttons sewn in trousers and ditch the clips, unless you're in the construction trades and wearing them to work. Even the packaging these suspenders came in was very nice. The leather button ends were on the thinner side, but should be fine for daily wear. My only complaint was these were bigger than I expected. I'm 5'7" 230lbs. I wear 2XL shirts and normally I need XL suspenders. I wore these at the top 3rd holes. I didn't care for how much extra leather hung out and flapped around. These are also skinny suspenders, which don't fit my particular build, so I returned them.
