This is a beautiful item. It looks and feels great. I have excellent protection for my MacBook mini and I love this item. It's sturdy, protective and very very pretty. I also love the keyboard protective strip. This was a pleasant surprise.

Most MacBook cases fall into one of two categories: (1) classic styling with retro chic; (2) futuristic-looking armoured cases. This MOSISO case is very much in the latter camp. It has a unique appearance, with a rugged shockproof bumper covering sides and corners whilst the main flat surface area is transparent to let the MacBook's own styling show through. The fit is snug. This is a precisely engineered piece of kit. The included keyboard cover isn't as tough as the rest of the case, but that piece has to be thinner and more pliable so users can type with the cover on, should they wish to do so. I prefer typing on uncovered keys - typing is more natural and more accurate that way, and keys are more responsive. The keyboard cover is handy for keeping dust and dirt off, though, so even if you choose not to type with the keyboard cover on, you can benefit from putting it on the rest of the time, as it helps to maintain a pristinely clean and functional keyboard.The fold-down/fold-up stand is a practical feature. Folding down the legs to elevate the keyboard doesn't just allow more ergonomic typing - it also increases airflow beneath the MacBook, thereby contributing to efficient heat dissipation.I like that the manufacturer didn't follow the herd in making this case, but dared to create something a bit different. It's an effective protective case with useful features. And I like its aesthetics too.

First the Pro's - Fitted the day I purchased the MacBook, shocked that I fitted the key board cover, even more shocked it has stayed in place and doing a great job. Study and offers protection and air cool venting.Secondly the Con's - Depending on where you use the MacBook, best example on your lap, the case edge can but slightly sharp and uncomfortable on your wrist or arms especially on th raised lugs designed for case closure spacing. The same issue presents along the leading from edge.Summary - A good level of protection for your investment...

I recently bought this case for my MacBook Air 13 inch, as I wanted something that would offer substantial protection without adding too much bulk. This case seemed to tick all the boxes, with its heavy-duty design, foldable kickstand, and included keyboard cover.First impressions were positive. The case feels robust and well-made, with a honeycomb pattern that not only looks stylish but also provides extra grip. The TPU bumper offers excellent shock absorption, which is reassuring for someone as clumsy as me. It fits my MacBook perfectly, snugly encasing it without obstructing any ports or vents.One of the standout features is the foldable kickstand. It’s incredibly useful for typing or watching videos, providing a comfortable angle and improving airflow to keep the laptop cool. The kickstand is sturdy and doesn’t collapse easily, which was a concern I had initially.The keyboard cover is a nice addition, fitting over the keys seamlessly. It protects against dust and spills without hindering typing. I was worried it might affect the tactile feel of the keyboard, but it’s surprisingly responsive. The clear design also ensures the backlit keys are still visible, which is a big plus.There are a few minor downsides, though. Macbooks get a bit warm - not hugely warm compared to gaming laptops, but still, a little bit warm. This hard shell case not only protects your Macbook, but with the feet, allows airflow underneath to help cool it a bit (and means you don't need an additional laptop cooler).Coming with a keyboard protector as well, it's very easy to fit (the keyboard protector just goes on easily, the rest clips in place). So far, so good but then pulling the legs out tilts the keyboard a little and allows heat to dissipate whereby I normally have a laptop cooler for tilting and venting.I am not convinced a large drop will protect it (I am NOT testing that!) but I know it will be free from scratches etc and that's perfectly fine. It just makes it a bit more usable knowing I don't have to carry extra bits around for cooling it a bit.
