I bought this to photograph my oil paintings. I always struggled to photograph them without the glare. However, this lens is amazing. It erased the glare even on dark colours.

Walked by coventry river on a half gray to white clouded day. The purpose was to test the lens when viewing water which glows from sunlight. Water can look fizzy and it did reduce it to be fair. It was a small reduction in glow but, enough to make the visuals more decent. Glow can be annoying on surfaces and can lose detail in visuals until it is tinted like cars, glass windows, rivers, limestone, tarmac.

Terrible, it doesn’t even work at the max nd level and when you increase the level an X appears and ruins the video. Its size is okay but I am having trouble firing it on my iPhone 17 pro. It is really irritating to install and is not worth the money I paid.

Average could be better but could be worse

Filming videos through the windscreen of a car you usually end up with quite distracting reflections, especially driving along a tree lined road with sun flicker. This lens filter removed 90% of windscreen reflections and in parts of my footage it looks like there is no windscreen at all! Now, I've read the one star reviews saying it doesn't work, but that's because the user doesn't know how polarising filters work. They have to be rotated to give the desired polarisation. If rotated to the "wrong" position the glare increases, but if rotated to the right position, the glare all but disappears - and that's why the lens is rotatable! But the effect is difficult to see with today's monitor screens, even on a large screen cellphone. So it requires some sacrificial shots that you can view on a large monitor. In my application with the clip upright, the lens was rotated such that the two grooves were horizontal, and that cancelled out 90 percent of reflections. Perhaps try that before misleading would-be purchasers with one star "do not buy" reviews, which are very misleading and annoying.

Works quite well and does fit on a large range of phones. Got some great shots with this.

Nice compact filter that actually cuts reflections and deepens colors when shooting on my phone. The clip feels sturdy and it fits over my case without issues. Only thing is you need to adjust the angle a bit to get the best effect, and it can shift if you bump it. Not perfect, but for the price it’s a solid tool to step up mobile photography.

Der Filter macht grundsätzlich, was er soll – allerdings nur in bestimmten Situationen. Spiegelungen lassen sich tatsächlich nur bei getöntem Glas zuverlässig reduzieren. Bei klarem Glas, z. B. Fensterscheiben oder Plexiglas ohne Tönung, bringt der Polarisationsfilter wenig bis gar nichts. Hier bleiben die Spiegelungen einfach bestehen, besonders wenn hellere Umgebungen reflektiert werden. Gebäudefotografie ohne Spiegelung ist also keine erfolgreiche Mission mit dem Produkt. Ich habe den Filter bisher hauptsächlich an Glasflächen getestet. Flüssigkeitsoberflächen (z. B. Wasser) konnte ich noch nicht ausprobieren – das werde ich noch nachholen und meine Bewertung ggf. ergänzen. Wichtig für Interessierte: Wer denkt, dass sich mit diesem Filter alle Spiegelungen auf jeder Glas- oder Flüssigkeitsoberfläche komplett entfernen lassen, wird enttäuscht werden. Der Effekt ist begrenzt und hängt stark von der jeweiligen Situation ab. Fazit: Solides Zubehör, aber mit klaren Grenzen. Für bestimmte Anwendungen praktisch, für "Wundereffekte" ungeeignet. Preis-Leistung je nach Anwendungsfall ok.

This is a great filter, which helps with some of the iPhone's lens reflections. In the past I've recorded video on trips and there are reflecting dots moving around in the image. It's my understanding this happens because the iPhone lenses are so shallow and it's unavoidable. This filter helps with that. The case is nice and light, allowing you to easily get the filter and it's clip out easily and quickly to use on your iPhone. For the price, it really can't be beat and such a simple improvement for your photos. You can rotate the lens to decrease or increase the amount of light your camera is sensing, so everything isn't overexposed. Wish I had this years ago. Recommending to friends who really enjoy taking photos.
