Review without Spoilers - Pros & Cons
Legend of Loch Lomond (2002) is a short drama film (38 minutes) directed by Mike Slee & staring Kristy Mitchell. Here are the pros & cons of this film as I see it, I hope this helps you.Pros:1. Nice cinematography with beautiful Scottish scenery (if it was not for this I would give the film 3 stars)2. Nice musicCons:1. The film is poorly directed & edited, making the story disjointed2. The present & past connection is poorly written with no tie in to the cast in the present or what happens to them3. If you were expecting a full length film, this film is only 38 minutes long

Watch for the scenery and not the storyline....
This is a little 38 minute feature about the Legend of Loch Lomond superimposed on a modern day story about a girl band. The thing that I really enjoyed about this feature is the beautiful scenic views of Scotland;many scenes are aerial photos, where you get a "bird's eye" view of the other-worldly beauty of the landscape. So, my advice...watch for the scenery and not the plot, although there are worse things to watch.

Interesting Story
I've never known the story behind the song, so it was interesting to watch. And the scenery was breathtaking! (I've always dreamed about going to Scotland.) It's too bad that more time and energy wasn't put into the movie, if you could even call it a movie at 38 minutes long. Still, it held my interest and I actually enjoyed it. I believe that a three star rating is more than fair!

The Music of the Highlands
This is a very sweet film if a bit abrupt in its ending. I had never known the legend behind the song "Loch Lomond", and enjoyed adding this bit of history to my knowledge of the Scottish Highlands. To tie it all up there is the most amazing music!

Fruity McCheese
I can't believe this was made in 2000, it looks SO 1994. Anyway, it's short so worth the time to watch, especially if you like cheesy movies with bad acting.

Breath-taking scenery!
I loved this movie! I only wish it had been longer with more history and character development, as the viewer is not able to become completely taken in by the movie before it is over. However, the Scottish scenery is beautiful and the legend moving. The music is very haunting as well. I plan to watch this many times over!
