**Q: What is the diameter of the speaker?**
A: It’s small- maybe 3 inches across

**Q: I wanted to use an aux extension for the microphone what size is the aux connector?**
A: Its not real large, about small speaker size. I don’t know the exact size

**Q: Does the outside speaker receive and transmit?**
A: Yes.  I get clear responses and our patients can hear me loud and clear also.

**Q: The system operates on a 12-volt dc correct? can you provide a standard usb plug to power unit from 12 volt battery auto setup?**
A: It works on 110 ac which you plug into the wall. No usb, just a plug.

This was a real easy, out-of-the-box set-up and use device. It works as expected and the only reason it didn't get 5 stars is: in order to hear the other side, the volume level inside with the microphones and speaker close together, (only separated by glass,) there tends to be a slight buzzing sound. Not overly bad and I may be nit-picking for perfection but this is an honest review and if I needed a second one, I would buy this same model again because it works well.
