This is a great product! We bought a used apple press that's in good shape except for being rusty. Per the instructions, we coated the rusty bits generously, then completely covered in plastic wrap. Made sure to get as many air bubbles out as possible and let it sit for about 24 hours. The gel was still wet under the plastic and washed off completely with a garden hose with a jet nozzle sprayer. A little light sanding and it's ready to go!

Used it on an old cast iron pot I received that was heavily rusted. Most of the rust was removed in 2 rounds. The second round I let sit in a plastic bag too long, 3 days and it had started to dry. But it still got a huge amount of rust off. I only have a little bit left on the top of the lid and just enough goop left to finish it off. I didn’t expect the thick layer of rust to come off in one go. It actually cleaned up in less rounds than I thought it would.

I applied this product on my car which was getting light to moderate rust on the hood hinge. I was surprised it removed most of it by the 30min mark and didn't harm the paint at all. I removed it and placed a final coat to leave there for 24hrs. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend even if you don't have a rust problem. This stuff will come in handy and some point. Just remember to wrap it in plastic wrap (food wrap.) Otherwise it will dry out and not work as well. It is very important that you catch the rust before it consumes all your metal.

I am in the process of cleaning up an old vehicle of mine to sell. There has been some rust on the rear bumper which I was using an old type of cleaner from my cabinet. That product worked great, but when it ran out I was looking to purchase another only to find they no longer make it. So I tried this instead and I must say it does not get the job done at all. I’ve applied it three times now and good portion of the rust is still there. I also tried another rust removing product that didn’t work either. I wish I could find more of the old product I had. I believe it was petroleum-based which probably made all the difference.

This stuff works! I’m working on removing the rust of my Grand Prix dash frame and you can literally wipe the rust off after a few hours in most areas. You do need to do several applications sometimes to treat the really rusty areas, but this product is amazing. It’s safe around plastics, doesn’t have an offensive odor and does a great job! I highly recommend you give this a try!

Works good. Safe on most vintage bicycle lead paint which is why I use it.

This stuff is trash. It would be easier to just use sandpaper. After it settles, you can’t just wipe it off, it goops so much. It takes forever to dry. Save your time and money and buy Rusto 322435 jelly. Same concept. Better results. The picture shows the difference between this and the Rusto. You can see the difference.
